For better or worse it is a combat vehicle. I never said it’s particularly good, that’s why it’s low BR. But that is where it belongs
We could say tons of vehicles shouldn’t be in game because they can’t chase the “Meta!” but for history and variety they should be added. Otherwise we might as well stopped adding vehicles that aren’t the Tiger 2.
It is just yet another vehicle added for variety. If someone feels like using it so be it.
Me personally I make my loadouts chronologically and I use a wide variety of vehicles so I certainly welcome any and everything.
Should we go down the train of thought that the Panzer 2 and M3 Stuart shouldn’t even be tank slots when there’s the Pershing and Tiger 2?
The point is everyone chooses whatever vehicle and they do whatever job they can, for better or worse. Spawn, kill, get destroyed, someone else gets a turn, they get destroyed, etc etc

I dont know what the criteria is for something to be forwarded.
If a vehicle is NOT going to be used by anyone, than there was really no point in adding it.
It does not improve variety or make the game more authentic, just add another vehicle I have to scroll through to select the usable tank I want to play. Also more game files to download, then store on my PC.

I retried, with even less content about half a year ago.
One day maybe… But no sign of it happening in the near future.

I will use it. Obviously I’m not going to use it 24/7 and that can be said about any vehicle, but it is yet another vehicle added to my arsenal. For better or worse, it is a combat vehicle.
Unlike most players (I assume) I don’t chase the Meta, I blend history and variety. It’s my fun. I make my loadouts chronologically and randomize my units and unit type. For example, why would someone ever use a Marder 3 and Marder 3 H, they’re slow, weak armor, open topped. But I chose Tank Destroyers as my vehicle and the year 1942. So I play as them, for fun.
Some people would even say the Marders shouldn’t even be in game because they’re not meta tanks. What a mentality
So sure some people may hate this Sd.Kfz.221 or insert any vehicle, but some days I will use it, and they’ll just have to deal with me using the slot just like everyone else, whether I’m a Panzer 2, this, Marder 3, or Tiger
99% of the time I never see anyone using any other type of vehicle, it’s always the Meta. Sure sometimes I use meta vehicles, but my reasoning is completely different.

Ooomph that is one ugly ass US Tank, maybe if it had some better camo or decals or something? But content is content and allied were complaining, so I guess they have this wedge like thing to satisfy them.
Love the German armoured car, I would suggest making it a new recon class vehicle, it will be in my lower tier lineups somewhere…
Looking forwards to more content, *cough F4 Bomb, also Console test server and perhaps some more BR reshuffules or more Japan squads to fill up and diversify my BR presets

I used them until I switched to StuG F, open top in exchange for a machine gun in the hull.
Not bad vehicles for BR2 at all either. Actually saw one yesterday in a BR2-3 match.
This isnt even about being meta, just being usable. Sure you can take it just for the fact that its a Sd.Kfz.221, but then it would have been better if developers added the real deal with a MG34 machine gun.
No MG, No HE, just pure AT capabilities. Maybe you can try to run people over with it, that used to be pretty funny in Heroes and Generals, but the fun really ends there.

Personally after all the drama about how japan will get run over by soviets post manchria - im quite sure players dont know what theyre talking about.
As for body armor major - it was a WW2 thing so include it, but consider more variety of adding it to other historical factions that had it (good start with Japan)

That is fair. The Stugs are yet another tank destroyer option for 1942. I will say that within my personal system I don’t always automatically use the better options. All are equal.
Sure the Dicker Max is probably the greatest early war tank destroyer, but sometimes I play as it and sometimes I’ll play as a Marder or Stug. That’s variety.
They should add that variant, perhaps RT.
I thought the pzb41 had a fragmentation round?
there isnt any in WT at least.
Maybe Enlisted devs add something for it, but then again, its an AT rifle so there isnt really a point in adding the fragmentation round (it had 5g explosive filler…)

ONCE! for the tech tree transport! Could be used for armoured cars too, imo.

The 221 isn’t like any other vehicle that the tanker class has. It’s not an AT vehicle nor an anti infantry vehicle. I mean, rider squads aren’t particularly great infantry squads either, so I think they fit together pretty well.

Game balancing is a complex struggle. For example, sometimes when using say a 30mm gun with HE I can practically shoot right next to an enemy and I get no hits. I obviously know that an HE shot out of a 70mm is more powerful than one shot from a 30mm, but you mean to tell me that a 30mm is basically worthless? Either that truly is the case or it’s just dev fuckery behind the scenes for balance.
I can tell you in real life you certainly wouldn’t want to get hit in the face with one regardless 
My point is an HE shot out of anything should at the very least be a little effective
But it is, it is armed with a light anti-tank gun. That’s why it’s low BR. Here is its big brother

Even on the promotional picture, its shown screening ahead of the main column, like a reconnaissance vehicle, admitting that its not meant for actual front line combat like tanks.
