Some tanks have hull machine guns, while others also feature machine guns operable by the commander. Currently, there is an issue where, without using the sight, the commander sees two identical circles for these guns. During intense combat, players may struggle to distinguish between the machine gun and the main cannon, leading to firing the wrong weapon. Therefore, I suggest that DF differentiate the shapes of these firing reticles or add customizable aiming sights to avoid confusion during tank operation.
Has anyone ever mentioned that issue where the two aiming circles are so close together that the machine gun ends up aligning with the target faster than the main gun, leading you to mistakenly think you’re properly aimed, only to fire a high-explosive shell and miss completely?
In the next update, Allied forces might fall victim to this, as they will be equipped with hull machine guns.
But it’s just a change to differentiate the reticles. All they did was move the three-line reticle from the gunner’s aiming mode to the commander’s view. It doesn’t seem that difficult to implement—
