But the reload time is still around 5 seconds

Interesting how these other 2-clip reloads reload an average 1 second faster than G41s and the Polish Kbsp.
I wouldn’t be resorting to memes if this wasn’t arbitrary as hell.
Furthermore, in the campaigns the G41 is an unlock, it doesn’t face a counterpart rifle with the same issue.

I hardly ever used the g41. ZH-29 miles better

If only we add an alternate reload for the SVT-40 too with loading a 5 round stripper clip.
G41 is clip reload. We should not be able to load 4 or 3 bullets one by one . It was a problematic design in real life too.

Same as these guns. But there’s a clear difference in reload.
I think almost all guns need a 2x or 3x longer reload time, so I’d say keep the g41 as it is and increase the other guns to match.

Are you too scared to face enemy with actually loaded gun or what? That’s kinda lame ngl.
Partial clip reload for most other similar guns like kar98 or mosin have soldier holding 2-4 rounds ready in hand, rapidly feeding them in. With G41, soldier pulls rounds one a time, taking too much time.
Should have just forced reload only with full 5 round clips. Have 3 round left? Quickly feed 1 clip for 8 round total and call it a day.
New G41 reload is such a waste of time.

Having a longer reload would force players to make choices they don’t have to now, think more tactically and increase tension in cqb. It would give side arms more value, and provide opportunities for greater variation in the many similar weapons options.

You can feed only 1 clip of rounds and press lmb to have a shorten reload time, you don’t need to wait until soldier fill up all rounds if you don’t want it.
can we expect changes in reloading clips ? will G41 be able to reload rounds one by one at least to a degree of Lee Enfield ?
it was my understanding you can only use clips with G41. that being said if you pushed in a clip and it was full it would just stop your bullets. Pull the bullets off the clip dump it and fire. confused on wheres the confusion

6.23s full reload for 2 clips.
4.49s single clip reload, most 5 round BAs take 3.3 sec to reload.
Reloading 2 single rounds takes longer than reloading full 5 round clip.
8.42s max reload duration for 1 clip & 4 single rounds!
Mauser BA rifles take 0.63s to load single round, 2.52s for 4 rounds, G41 has 3.9s for 4 rounds.
Nice change, can you please stay away from my Lee-Enfield rifle with that, bad enough that SMLE fires slower that a Mosin.
