So many players have many squads with the same equipment, but you can only use 2 of them, and they will fall out of relevance once other squads from other campaigns can be used. It should give you back some research points for each squad unlocked with the same gear unlocked, some people have spent months of their lives to get a squad with a good gun/tank in Tunisia and Moscow, just for you to get it in Stalingrad very fastly (like the panzer 3j) and this also applies to weapons and veichles not unlocked with a squad, like the MG34 and 42, and so many other copy paste weapons you spent so much time getting. The most agregous of these are the mortar squads, they are next to useless in all the campaigns except Moscow and Tunisia, and that isn’t going to happen anymore with the BR system,who would want to have 2 mortar squads in Berlin and Normandy serving no purpose but taking up space that could be use for something like ppsh squads.and the “upgraded” mortars are slightly stronger than the normal ones, and are unlocked near the end of most campaigns that have them, and take up a Hugh amount of XP. You should be able to keep the squads for collectibility,like promised, but be rewarded for all that progress being worth nothing anymore when the merge happens.

Giving out some kind of compensation, even if its little would be fair.
I spent a good amount of time playing Tunisia to unlock afrika korps camo for PzIV only to realise that I won’t get to keep the camo.
I already have PzIV F2 anyway.

Pissing off those who bought premium squads where some bought them for the cool uniforms from their respective campaigns like how low we could get. Honestly would be pissed myself if I cannot have a Berlin counterpart uniform of the Stalingrad Naval Infantry squad.
