I suggest lowering the price of gold chests, as I still think 300 gold per chest is too expensive. Below is a vote for the price you think is acceptable.

50 or less would be better, that way there will be a better chance that those who earn those 50 gold coins in the free pass can get something from time to time (yes, I’m one of them)

Yes, and the higher cost doesn’t guarantee you’ll get anything really good. So far, the silver chests have mostly given me soldier customization tickets, XP boosters, and a Luger—literally the same one you can buy for less than 1000 silver on the TT instead of spending it on a chest that just gives you a reskin of the same weapon.
Something as low as 50 gold would be so stupid as at that point each chest would refund more gold than it would cost and in addition have a chance of giving you premium squad worth up to 5k gold ontop of it.

And the downside? Not all players spend that much money on the game, you know. Besides, gold coins are useful for quite a few things, but they aren’t easy to get.
How do you believe devs would be fund the server bills if gold becomes an almost infinite resource useing the gold box and all the old premiums are handed out for free?
Why would anyone pay for new things if they get it for free eventually?
Well, the first thing would be if they lower the cost of chests, don’t you think the amount of gold refunded will also decrease? And if we’re talking about things that require payment, many players have been asking for specific pre-merge squads for a long time. If people are asking for that, it means they’re willing to buy them no matter what. What’s being discussed most now is simply that a roulette-style mechanic could turn the game into an absolute pay-to-win with no alternatives to getting good things unless you spend money. And if you don’t, you fall behind those who spend the most money—all in a game that’s supposed to be free.
i have been playing for 3 years now its better then cod,Bf or any other shooter i have ever played and i have in been games hardcore since 1988, i wish that they would not gatekeep old squads and weapons so hard behind loot chest gamble mechanics. I WISH all squads and guns were for sale direct i get you dont want over kill limit the past weapons and or event weapons to 5 a piece to account and let all squads be for sale for gold on psn or storefront etc etc. Like i said i Love this game its probably my favorite game of all time shooter wise but 3 years in and all the stuff I missed from previous battlespasses and events or the merge or whatever, seem to out of reach or at least behind a loot mechanic that does not seem worth the moeny for chance %. Please i hope devs see this and make a change heck even sell stuff for a combo of exp, sliver and gold. I dont care just make it more accessible Please. Ps I Iove this game and I belive more people would play and more people would stay if things were more easily attainable and or directly accessible

Currently they are very poor value when 7/10 you get a couple pairs of pants.

Certainly, although that would only be hypothetically speaking XD, but from what I see they’re testing how much players are willing to pay. The fact that it’s right after this update makes me think they really invested a lot this time, and it shows in the new maps, but it still must have cost a pretty penny. The thing is, in terms of this, many would be between: “They did a great job, take my money” and “Finally something new after so long, but I’m not giving you anything.”
But otherwise the Proud Supporters wont be happy anymore…
