Weapons that fire a projectile using physics should be balanced with damage ranges, bullet velocity, and recoil. Using dispersion to this degree to balance a weapon would make more sense if it’s a fast firing hitscan weapon like the warthog minigun turret in the Halo series. As shown in the video clip, the Type 100 MG is fired under the best conditions possible yet it still give a poor hit ratio. The player spend hours to earn enough silver to fully upgrade 1 gun only for it to perform terribly, it’s better to use silver to upgrade other weapon class. Dispersion of MG make the players turn to SMG as it is more accurate. Everyone choosing the same weapon class because MG sucks, this in turn have a negative effect on the weapon variety on the battlefield making the game more boring in the long run.
