As title says… that buff to rd 44 was absolutely ridiculous and you should either revert that or make it up across the board and if you say everything doesn’t need to be the same then i say you didn’t need M26 to counter tiger 2.

Yep it’s needed not a single MG can compete vs RD-44 at BR5 i put that gun into every single squad and it will be the strongest gun along with Feddy and AVT-40 20.
Stinger also should have it removed and especially Type mg 100 as it has the slowest running speed posst nerf so it doesn’t need double punishment.

us needs a mg at br4, the bar is good at br3 competing 20 round mag against a 50 round drum. the johnson at br4 vs 75 rounds is wanting maybe something like a 40 round bar

Why bother with trifles? I suggest improving dispersion to the level of Madsen, the best machine gun in the entire game.
I almost forgot, all machine guns still need to be given a powerful and crushing damage of 9.9, like the best machine gun of the USSR RD44.

I wonder if the damage will be also reduced to the level of rd-44 (9.9)?
I mean if you improve something then the other stat (damage/recoil/br) should be also changed to somewhat counter-balance the buff, isn’t it?

9.9 or 13.2 doesn’t matter you still always need two hits to kill anyway. Not a single person at BR5 will not be running without vitality just be honestt.

It wasn’t a nerf it was a buff. It got altered maybe because it was just unplayable and couldn’t hit anything just like Breda CR

Everything that they did to it including decreasing dispersion was a nerf.
It’s bullets going everywhere was a byproduct of it being two lmgs taped together that’s not a bug lmao.
And it wasn’t a bad thing either… having them go everywhere and the mediocore fire rate was perfect for wiping squads in cqc.
And if you didn’t like that? Use TE-4… hell type 97!
And that’s why nobody was using that piece of shit and everyone was picking Te-4, now it has it’s own niche. Bipod → have laser accurate mg that runs out of bullets in 1sec. Don’t nerf it again into trash tier weapon, but they could probably add a slow fire mode for you.

it’s niche was for CQC. TE-4 was all around mg.

RD44 indeed has AR like dispersion because it uses an intermediate cartridge, while MG42 and such use classic full power rifle rounds - so the logic is RD44 deals less damage and thus get better dispersion.
The problem simply is that MGs despite using rifle rounds, dont deal rifle damage.
So either all MGs get their damage buffed to 15.3 - or RD44 gets its dispersion bonus removed. Everything else is obviously unfair.

They seem to like this historical accuracy trend which are actually just hidden nerfs but not when it’s for soviets (i suppose avs still)… wow it all makes sense now.

as mentioned above, this is just really a next-generation weapon, its minor modifications were used until 2000, if the Germans are suffering so much from the RD-44, then why not give them the AL-43
it will be even better than the RD-44, it will definitely be a weapon of stormtroopers, which are more numerous in the units than machine gunners (remember the squad of assault engineers), actually, I do not understand how 4 dudes with a machine gun can defeat the entire German team alone, and if this is not the case, then what exactly is the problem if the main factor of oppression is Fedorov avtomat and cuirasses!?
