Recruitment changes were too drastic

Was more in the direction of new players getting these items from scratch, i do have been stock piling them :stuck_out_tongue:

Sounds like the alcoholic who tries to quit drinking but still hangs out in the bars.

Well i was for nearly 38 years, but kept out of bars, by playing games, and giving them all my drinking money :stuck_out_tongue:

Devs have already stated this….if people have bronze weapon orders stacked up…they might be well served to spin the random weapon wheel and stock up while they can

I’m playing US and I have this assulter squad with the machine gunner unnlocked, and I quesion myself i really need to spend 1 precious silver order for a machine gunner? In the end its nor really necessary.

This is should not happen imo, it’s really bothering me.

The right place to spend it my friend! But there’s also plenty of other great WW2 shooters you could also spend it on on PC tho :eyes: Ones that are… Not to grindy…

I still have ptsd from wt but after 1000 hours I’m clean, I swear.

I don’t mind grindy part, have been looking about, but could use a tip or two on which ones

Exactly! It shouldn’t happen but sadly it is  man there go my dreams of getting the machine gunners for the US lol. Never got to unlock them since I never focused it. Just got my squads full of Garand’s and historically accurate weaponry and I was fine

Transfer the Gunner from the unlocked “Gunner” squad to the Assault III squad. Then place the Gunner squad in reserve. No silver order required

Already clean all my squads long before the update, im literally running on empty.

Well that depends on what you fancy  if you’re an RTS fan, a couple of games I would suggest are Men of War: Assault Squad 2(download RobZ Realism from Steam Workshop and use it), and Call to Arms: Gates of Hell: Ostfront(Long fucking name, also use the similar realism mod from the workshop with the first person mod).

For first person shooters, I would try Hell Let Loose of course, and then maybe also the old Red Orchestra games. I know that the first Red Orchestra has a fairly active mod called “Darkest Hour” that’s pretty cool. Fairly active during the days. And the second Red Orchestra game is still fairly populated on PC as well. That one’s a real fun play if you haven’t played it already!

Edit: As of late, I’ve been really enjoying CTA: GOH with the first person mod. Adds a cool amount of control to the units you command. Which can lead to some awesome experiences

Players really only need 3 infantry squads that they rotate to kick butt in this game.

Yeah but it’s not much the performance but the thought that I can’t afford this machine gunner, bc I need to save for other campaigns in the possible future in witch I decide to play them.

Steal the Gunner from an inactive squad and replace him with a rifleman. Rifleman can fully populate any inactive infantry squad

The problem is that you can’t expect new players to have that insider knowledge. Naturally when they try a new game like Enlisted and got the chance they want their squads to grow as it appears intended by the devs to increase their squads power.

Even I have both elite pass + premium it’s still so hard to grind in new campaign and I find it so boring stuck with the damn riflemen every squad even though my campaign rank is 15+ already

… well imagine you being new to this … Yike !

Which is why I hope that this whole idea just wasn’t thought through enough by the devs and that they’ll come up with a proper solution, like increasing the silver order earnings.

I know Bobby is trying to help with his advises by making the best out of the current situation but personally I won’t go through any unnecessary micromanagement of pushing soldiers around my squads as a long term solution if this silver shortage has come to stay.

I don’t know about you guys but I even arranged the squad and paid in gold to make my squads look cool. All that work would get ruined when I push soldiers back and forth.

Gaijin simply has to step up their game here with silver orders in my eyes

The ship is sailed, pal. They keep releasing half-finished and buggy content since OBT started and at the same time they come with statements like this…
