Question regarding this topic. Since they’re reducing recoil control, would that turn rifles like the avt40-20 or the fg42-2 from controllable weapons into atrociously unstable rifles like the fedorov rifle or not nearly as bad still?

It’s worse, but it’s certainly not unusable like the fedorov rifle.
These are still really good weapons but at least assault rifles and other BR5 weapons will have a reason to be used.

No, ive tested the patch.
To my eye its quite well balanced. You need to go prone with a battle rifle now, for long range auto shooting. For short range its still fine as a burst will still cut someone down.
However Assault rifles are now much stronger long ranges with the dispersion buff.
Seems like a good balance, and makes 9 man riflemen no longer an auto choice in BR5.

True a little bit of more recoil aint gonna change nothing is just moving down ur mouse a little bit more than before i dont expect it will be that insane

I don’t think the Dev’s could bastardize a weapon to shoot as horribly as the Fedorov, it’s just a complete flaming ass fire as a weapon. 
I can only shoot it reasonable accurate in full time semi auto mode.

They already had a reason to be used.
They never were. This was only true for japan with the type hei auto. Like 95% of players don’t stack rifle squads in br5. Most already used ARs and SMGs.
That’s bullshit. You shouldn’t have to do more than crouch at most for most weapons. Sounds like they just ruined some guns like the akt40.

Top players who are already fully prepared have only been using SF.
Of course, even if SF is nerfed with this patch, SF is still meta.
