If I understand the situation correctly the italian faction soon will be separated from germans and will see even less play in the future I beleive. While germany has access to all campaigns, Italy only has one. With a little effort you can give the faction the chance to appear in the Stalingrad campaign (as it was historically) their weapons, helmets, vehicles are already in the game, with a little customization of the soviet winter coats the job is done, even the timeline is similar to tunisia. I think it would make all italian players having a better time, their grinding would have more meaning, it might double the interest in the faction, and make the stalingrad battlefield richer in detail. I beleive there are many players like me who are big fans of rarely seen “minor” factions of the war. Greetings from Hungary!

Maps are based on BR. Weapons and vehicles determine BR
You can probably take your Italian squads to any campaign if you build them as such.

We know definitively that the UK and Italy will not be their own faction when the merge first comes.
