I only finished the German TT, cuz thats what I play mostly - however if finishing the other nations research tree would grant me a free squad slot, I would totally finish all nations tech trees.
Also free to play players should get more slots, not being able to bring more diverse loadouts is quite unfair.
should grant 2 slots, vehicle & inf for free anyway.
Idk about a squad slot, but at least a reward like a portait and some silver or something

Tentative yes, but personally getting the Marshall rank might be a better task.
(Get Marshall once → one slot for one nation. Obviously with a limit of 1-2 slots per nation.)
Otherwise it is useless so far.
Would have to check, but reaching Marshall rank is quite out of reach for most of the average player base, so basically like 60 - 70%, maybe even higher. Barely saw 1-2 people with gold ranks per match per team and that was just before the end of the previous BP.
At that point it would only benefit vets, who have an easy time getting wins, probably going as low as to even stomp low BRs just for the sake of speeding up the process, while newbs would suffer trying to grind it.
Getting Marshall is quite easy - you just have to play the game actively.
I ain’t saying it isn’t for those who have the time, means or effort. I am saying the lobbies I’ve encountered, both BR II, III and V, have had maybe 1-2 gold ranked players per team and they weren’t marshals either.
So putting a squad slot behind such a task, might be a stretch for a common player. I’d say even playing objective/building rallies or achieving positive KDA would be cutting it close with most.
That’s a way better Marshal reward then temporary portraits…I have been lobbying a long time to change them as I usually get Marshal and have 300 days of them saved up. I doubt they would give squad slots for finishing a TT or getting Marshal but a unique weapon or vehicle for the TT and a GO vehicle or weapon for Marshal is quite reasonable, and would get the stuff from diluting the gambling boxes.
