Really stupid question

He all, got to say im really loving this game, but heres a dumb question,
How do i tell who is an actual person on a server and not AI?

Many thanks

It shouldn’t be easy. But usually it’s the guy in the front moving slightly faster. AI also does more standing around unless there’s enemies close or shooting at them. Sometimes they run over trenches and not into them and they never mount the HMG’s.

Sometimes there is no guy in the front. Sometimes, the squad is 100% bots.

If you click on their name on the score list, there’s a “Complain” button drop-down. If its a bot, you don’t get the Complain button.

greetings. no questions are stupid.
don’t worry!.

there are a few ways to recognize players from bots/AI.

the main ones, are from characters movements and animations.

speaking of the movement;
players usually take cover, the AI on the other hand, not so much.
also, players wouldn’t run in open fields for no reasons at walking speed.

and as someone correctly said above, players in the movement are usually fasters than AIs. and they will not miss so many shots like AI does.

other note, AI are not capable of Leaning or jumping.

and lastly, players has different visual movement animations.
it’s hard for me to explain, but basically who ever moves with rigid animations ( and looks almost like a plank ) is a player. this factor can be noticed during kill cams.
you will get your hand to tell who is who.

hope this can help. cheers^^

They can sometimes jump when trying to climb

that’s climbing.

Sometimes they fail to grab something and actually jump

yes, but they don’t jump like actual playerys.

animation is different. as well the " reach " zone.

why cannot they mark AI in the game??

this is yet unkown for all of us even after 1 year.

i presume so that you have the feeling to play with real players.

but… doesn’t work too well.

I assume so not only the player itself is targetted entirely.

Anyways you dont need to know what soldier the player is at just shoot em all down. Experience and money

sounds good for me

I think it’s not an issue of being told what player in a squad is AI, but more of what squad is lead by AI entirely, as those too are hidden among human players to hide the fact the session isn’t full / may be unbalanced because of it.
