I’m reading a Russian book on Soviet armoured cars development and noted the following:
- Unlike its predecessor (BA-10), the BA-11 had a rate of fire of 1 round every 12 seconds;
- Model “GK” tires were bulletproof;
- In the rear of the hull a viewing device was attached to observe the road when reversing;
- Its sides had three holes for firing a revolver, closed with armored plugs;
- There were 20 F-1 hand grenades packed in four bags and attached to the backs of the crew seats in the turret;
- The fighting compartment housed a spare parts box for a gun, a toolbox and a first-aid kit;
- Worse controllability than that of the BA-10;
- Unsatisfactory engine cooling and high temperatures inside the armored hull;
- When shooting, the concentration of carbon dioxide was many times higher than all hygienic standards.
Should the ingame BA-11 reflect these historical aspects?
