Realistic BA-11 performance

I’m reading a Russian book on Soviet armoured cars development and noted the following:

  • Unlike its predecessor (BA-10), the BA-11 had a rate of fire of 1 round every 12 seconds;
  • Model “GK” tires were bulletproof;
  • In the rear of the hull a viewing device was attached to observe the road when reversing;
  • Its sides had three holes for firing a revolver, closed with armored plugs;
  • There were 20 F-1 hand grenades packed in four bags and attached to the backs of the crew seats in the turret;
  • The fighting compartment housed a spare parts box for a gun, a toolbox and a first-aid kit;
  • Worse controllability than that of the BA-10;
  • Unsatisfactory engine cooling and high temperatures inside the armored hull;
  • When shooting, the concentration of carbon dioxide was many times higher than all hygienic standards.

Should the ingame BA-11 reflect these historical aspects?

Only few, since this is just a game, not some simulation.
Viewing device, ability to carry supplies and bulletproof tires are good ideas, the rest is too hardcore or difficult to implement, like holes for firing a revolver.

This isn’t really a sim game, so I’m more concerned about balance, the ability to destroy the BA-11s tires was an interesting balance change as it meant this tank that is normally really tough to kill now has something extra to worry about that can render it Immobile, and therefore extremely vulnerable.

The rear observation port would be pretty nice.

The revolver holes and grenades would be fun but I’m not sure if they should be added.

Maybe the rate of fire can be lowered to something worse than the Pz 3 but making it 12 seconds would be too much.

Oh, looks like the BA-11 just like the Panzer III B never fought in Moscow.

Reload was 12 seconds when the loader is the inexperienced
