-Out of ammo and no engineer? Pay 25G to have an ammo crate air dropped
of dead soldiers from current squad to paratroop in
-Just capped and next objective is 200m away? Pay 75G to have a Truck airdropped
-Prebuilt MG Nest/AT Gun? 150G
-One man left in your squad and your the only one on the point? Pay 50G per/ea to have replacements
(Pay extra if soldier being replaced is engineer or Flametrooper)
Airdrops default drop on current position unless you change it
Ya’ll are probaly gonna hate this idea, I kinda hate my self for having it, but it could
Why its good for players:
-generate money for the game so the devs could add new features /fix stuff
Why it would make Darkflow / Gajin $$$:
-Costs so little that players will just say fuck it and pay it
-In the moment all your brain is telling you is NEED AMMO, creates impulsive buying (especially at the end of close matches)
-People can be lazy/impatient, IE paying $10-$15 extra for Uber Eats
-(Fucked up example incoming) Same reason human trafficking is more profitable than drug dealing, you can only sell a drug/Tank to a user/player once, but you can sell an airdrop Multiple times EVERY SINGLE GAME
Downsides:
-Pay to Win vibe - BUT it’s just giving buyer something they already had access of to begin with (can only replace dead soldiers cant bring in new soldiers not from squad) (Stuff engineers can already build)
-UI on console might be tricky?
Best of all air drops are still historically accurate (assuming radio in squad, but DF/Gajin would probably want players to be able to buy regardless of that)
