RT is a fickle thing. Even on Nvidia graphics cards, you sometimes have to find ways to eliminate such artifacts. However, I didn’t have such problems in eblisted.

Idk maybe the game needs several matches to “calculate” the rays?

So far I haven’t seen much difference, only the FPS dropped from 200 to 70.

On the other hand, other games like GTA5 with Rays on never displayed such artifacts.

You might notice the reflections in the windows. It doesn’t look very realistic, more like a deliberate display, and sometimes the reflections from soldiers can be mistaken for real enemies behind those windows (This may hinder the game, but it makes kinda a fun experience.). But I just like to see it. People also note the improved lighting and flare effects.

My opinion is that RTX is needed for realistic reflections, while lighting and shadows are the work of the artist and only the artist. A good artist will do this job better than RTX and it will require less computer resources.

Different people experience different issues with different games. It can appear and disappear with game or driver updates. It’s different for everyone. The technology is relatively new and hasn’t been fully proved yet.

only true thing you said is that graphics made by artist will use less computer resources. rtx gives better/more realistic lighting and shadows at expense of performance, but difference can be relatively minor compared to good artist making shadow maps.

Let me clarify once again.

I would still prefer the artist’s work. For me, high-tech doesn’t always equal beautiful. RTX will make a high-tech picture, but an artist will make one you believe in.
