All rank means, especially early on in a campaign, at least to me is that those that have it, that are not Bot’s, are just really good quitters.
Most of the High ranking players just leave a match if it looks at all like it’s going south, so they can gain rank faster, they only finish matches there going to win.
It is no way an indicator of skill, so why do people get all bent out of shape if there playing a game where one side has more marshals on than the other?
It’s also a good “stack” indicator.
When during the starter 30 seconds, you see 4 goldy boys popping exactly at the same time, you know it’s a stack.
You then wait 1 minute to see if they desert for easier bot farming, or desert yourself.
In short: ranks are not helpful for the game. Not until there’s a basic mm ensuring the same amount of humans AND STACKS per side.
Rans are meaningless and all, untill You run into 10 marshall doomstack.
Unless Your team is also 10 marshall You can expect >50% desertion rate or teammates with <20 kills.
So, do you think the revamp is cover for them to not have so many bot’s with a marshals rank from now on?
and also a true range simply today’s rank is only based on 150 battles won
No idea tbh. I doubt this revamp will change a lot of things. Ppl will still be wary of golden boys…
In fact, they will be MORE wary when one appears as it will be twice as long to achieve the rank.

They mean nothing, but I like to acchive it either way, even if it’s another gold order soldier.

Yes you are.
Most players ain’t marshal.
Most are low ranked.
There are alot of players with below 50% wr that strungle to level up.
… that ain’t right…
It means there are more humans, and consequently less bots, than I first imagined…
It feels lonely sometimes. The urge to carry the team even if carrying is not fun…
Most players keep spawning pumas, t60s, Sherman’s, t34s t70s for a reason…

I always imagined it was 1 or 2 newer players per matchs that kept doing so. Never minded, as it’s how you learn. It’s how I learnt as well.

Surprised to see that I am in the top 15-20%.
Usually I would think that only name decorators from events mean something.
Its a human player for sure and he knows how to fight.
But it’s no guarantee.
Sometimes I see ppl doing stuff I dont understand.
Like this guy, with event name decorator, I expect him to fight.
We already lost 2 points (in 7 minutes) and he has done nothing for 5 minutes and then got 1 assist kill for 15 points.
And then he deserts.

Also, I outscore the enemy top 3 all together and still my team loses.

To be fair, T34 tank was much more useful than the IS1, IS2 or SU85, especially the one with the ZIS-S-53
