except. by definition, the game is and can be considered sandbox because you can achieve them.
precisely.
well, no.
you are not playing the sandbox aspect of the game ( which, kinda ironic since it’s the main one )
but again, the reason why enlisted has the sandbox tag, is because of the editor. once again, through the editor, you can achieve the sandbox aspects.
that’s what we are debating. therefore, enlisted IS a sandbox, BECAUSE OF THE EDITOR.
yes, if you do not play custom games, you will not experience the sandbox.
that’s, literally it.
which still doesn’t make any less sandbox.
( it is kinda twisted, but not entirely unlogical )
Costum game are user made mission, so not part of the original game
For the last time
Enlisted is not sandbox if the developers dont make him sandbox
https://sandbox.enlisted.net/pages/rules/
which, doesn’t… make… any… less… sandbox.
for the fifth time,
Enlisted is a sandbox, because is made on one.
sure, i my self think it’s a bit idiotic to “assume” or give “tags” based on the potentiality, but in the foundations, ( which… the editor is technically the engine it self where devs make stuff ) allows for sandboxness.
so. you can’t really uncall for it, because you don’t feel like it. unless you have strong “proofs”.
which, that would have been the case, if the editor wasn’t a thing. then, we would have been in agreement,
but that’s not the case.
so you understand wy me and @CaptainSebekel refuse to call enlisted sandbox
Because enlisted potentially is already wasted, you show how the game was different in alpha, a real ww2 sandbox wo degree in cod ww2 freetoplay for the sake of money
So no withaut dev imputat it is only possible affirm, dunia engine, is better used by player than developers
because that’s an opinion.
which can be wrong, or right. ( or partially dubbious. )
which, i can see just like op pointed out, and he is not entirely wrong, enlisted IS a sandbox. but the reason why we are discussing it, it’s because it looks ( and feels like ) that it’s an illusion. which it’s unfasely opinionated i think, despite being one. but rather, the aspects of the sandbox in question are less present in everyday match. or the base game that you kinda have to play for the majority ( due to grind ).
but once again, this doesn’t make it lose it’s tags for any reason ( unless the editor gets taken away, but i doubt that will happen ).
Enlisted is not a sandbox, if only because it was never conceived as a sandbox.
It’s always been just an ordinary online shooter.
The editor is fine, but even it has too many limitations. And he’s just an addition to the game, so it’s not worth considering him too much.
actually, now that i think about it.
i guess i mandela affect about it.
the game it self doesn’t proclaim to be sandbox.
nor there are “tags” about it
so, technically, it’s not one.
but i’m fairly sure that the introduction of the editor, makes like it.
EDIT: actually, this game it’s a MMO Sandbox.
because you have classes, and choices.
so it is one ( kinda ).

Erika vuoi essere mandata dietro la lavagna
well, it’s not wrong to assume it is one.
( because it is )
more like it.
or rather, a figure of speech.
non questa volta.
tu ne avresti bisogno con questo inglese maccheronico. (
)

De facto and de jure, this is not a sandbox.
But you have the right to consider it even as a strategy.
French, Spanish and Italian are almost the same.
Only the best among them is Spanish. The rest are pathetic imitators.
@gastanofrizzi I have this question - if enlisted is not sandbox, then what is practise mode in enlisted?
Personally, I consider enlisted to be… having sandbox elements, but is more fitting a Role-Playing-Game genre, than a sandbox (like minecraft or mindustry).
With the Standard - squads - gamemode: the game gives the player a goal (capture a point) and encourages him/her to achieve it(experience reward), but leaves several options for player to choose how to achieve the said goal (which squad to pick, how to equip them, and numerous ways to get to goal and deal with opposition).
With practise mode… I’d say this is an enlisted’s sandbox mode, though it needs much more work for it to properly become one.
