A text that says “you are XY meters too close to the point” for the rallypoints would be nice.

I generally run away from the point like a madman with a hammer until it turns green. 
but this idea would be nice so that I don’t have to fear getting shot in the back.

They’re reworking rally points borders after the recent failed attempt. We may bee seeing news soon.
Either way, the closest RP isn’t necessary the best one. In several maps, it is best to place it in a slightly further position but outside of the heat of the combat zone, so it remains available at anytime.

The problem with that, is that clever players drop arty just outside the zone, and that will wipe out close rallies like your ones. Better to be a bit further out if you want it to stay up…
