For the length of the protection, it doesn’t even have to be that long. Maybe like <4 seconds. Just to prevent stupid anti-personnel mines on rally points killing entire squads and campers with high capacity LMG’s who have nothing better to do than ruin someone else’s fun.
no
why not?
its the risk of a rally point, if its already for defenders protect the place against horde of zerg rushers, give them more tools will be a pain, basically a no no unless they give to defenders something like this

I don’t really understand what your point is here, I’m just saying to give spawn protect for a second or two to prevent AP mines from killing squads. You can’t place rally points so close to the point that someone with 2 secs of spawn protection will just rush it and be invincible if that’s what you’re trying to say. It will have literally no impact on gameplay other than preventing AP mining killing squads (they can still destroy the rally point itself just not the squad) and helping prevent MG spawn camping.
ok
Still no, for all the reasons previously given - the way to achieve your goals is to defend your rally points, not get a lazy buff to them.
No. We must bully the newbs into building better spawns
No.

I once got 50 kills with a plane - so what?
Bully them by defending an invasion match with 0 objectives captured and forcing them to learn while still having fun, not by ruini,ng their fun and guaranteeing they’ll ruin someone else’s fun in the future
Gotta love how all the arguments against it are just “but I wanna be toxic and annoying :(”
That doesn’t teach em their rally points suck
I personally don’t care if people get spawn protection, however while they are under spawn protection they should NOT be allowed to kill anyone because that gives them an unfair advantage.
There are times in the heat of the battle that our cap point fell and I was unaware of it, so I am fighting at the cap point and enemy will come through a door and I open up only to find they have spawn protection. Meanwhile, they are protected and kill off my whole DEFENSELESS Squad. So, anyone under spawn protection should be unable to kill others until their protection is gone.
Although I basically haven’t used mines this year and I often get blown up
But I never thought landmines were a problem
Because that’s what mines do
At the same time I know clearly
I shouldn’t always cry when something kills me
Either confront him or give up the confrontation and bear the shortcomings
Maybe you should make more effort and use your brain to protect your game.
Fight as hard as the enemy relies on their efforts and wisdom to treat you like fools.
No young padawan.
People HAVE to learn how to build better spawns and protect them (place a counter mine).
When I get that far in enemy teritory and find a spawn that is not protected I will continue to “counter” them.
It has nothing to do with “toxic”, but rather with fun. In regular cases I manage to manipulate one, maybe two, spawns per match. Sometimes even none so I think these rare situation can be “celebrated” ![]()
Never. It would completely disrupt the balance of defense and offense. It would give a huge advantage to attackers.
Nope defenders are already punished with attackers being able to cap one point after another without a cooldown in Invasion, and armored apc spawns are pretty much even better than a spawn protection since they are much harder to kill and can shoot at you with deadly preccision
You’re not going to be able to kill anybody within 2 seconds of spawning unless they were camping/ idling next to your rally like an idiot
Assuming that i’m automatically trash and just cry and piss my pants when I die to something I can’t do much about is a little asinine. I’m not crying, it’s just annoying when they place mines on my teammates’ rallies. It has a general negative impact on players, especially new ones, and it probably contributes to this game’s playerbase struggling to grow. Obviously even after I get mined I still shred the enemy team, it’s just that I would prefer not to get my entire squad blown up off spawn because the devs decided they would design a map with trash boundaries.
