Raise the premium MG 42 recoil

Why is a premium weapon a better version of a regular one?
It’s one of the basic things when designing paid content - it shouldn’t be a straight up better version of otherwise copy-pasted stuff from the free part of the game.

Please, change it so that it would no longer be pay to win.

I get your point but the gun is so fun to play with, LMAO.

This is only the beginning

What about the dispersion?

Also, you looking at a non upgraded version on both sides.
Don’t forget the guy that purchase the premium will get a even better Stat gun that that picture tell.

Both of them lack 3 stars, so they’re equal. Also, I’m quite sure MGs don’t get recoil reduction in the upgrades.

Dispersion Stat is only on gamefiles tho.

If I recall correctly most premiums have worst dispersion Stat.

But I might be wrong

I don’t do datamining, and I don’t think that @Euthymia07 updated his Resource Chart with the new weapons yet, so I don’t know the dispersion.

Just looked into the chart and they’re there, you’re doing an awesome work.

Btw, that means that the premium MG 42 is better when it comes to dispersion as well, right?

I guess it have less base rof so lower recoil, you are posting the gun with 5 star click on the gun and see the 1 star stats

Except it has higher RoF - 960 instead of 900. Also, they both lack three stars, so they’re both stock weapons - as you can see in the lower right corner, both of them have the same possible upgrades displayed, so both lack them.

On one hand it is a premium gun. So, it kind of serves right to see it have an advantage.
On the other, since it is a prototype…
Actually, if Ian from forgotten weapons is to be believed:

Prototypes and early variants oftentimes ended up being better, with more interesting quirks than the mass-produced models.
So, it is more historical.

Prototype usually are more complex than the mass one is true, but most of the Prototype in game are worse than their mass produced version so i think some change it needed, but if is like this for counter the MG fedorov it can stay

Meh. Axis lmgs are nerfed enough already :person_shrugging:

(More dispersion, harder to control)

MG42 from which dimension did you use that give you 300 round when using large ammo pouch?

I kinda agree about that, but that’s not the point. What I mean is that premium weapons by no means should be straight up better versions of the f2p ones - at this point it should be called MG 42 (buffed) instead of MG 42 (early).

Yeah true. But as far as premium goes, it’s not the very slightly buffed recoil values that should catch your attention.

But the fact you can have 5 of them, vs 3 per regular squad…

But, I’m having hopes since the addition of engineers WITHOUT lmgs in old squads that slowly, premiums will resemble regular squads in composition.

As for the mg42early… yes it LOOKS like mg42, but it ain’t (technically) one… so it CAN have different values.

Like the mg45 in Berlin for instance. Got 1500 rof, yet LOOKS like a 42.

Different weapons :person_shrugging:

How you checked the dispersion of rd44?
