Why is a premium weapon a better version of a regular one?
It’s one of the basic things when designing paid content - it shouldn’t be a straight up better version of otherwise copy-pasted stuff from the free part of the game.
Please, change it so that it would no longer be pay to win.
Also, you looking at a non upgraded version on both sides.
Don’t forget the guy that purchase the premium will get a even better Stat gun that that picture tell.
Except it has higher RoF - 960 instead of 900. Also, they both lack three stars, so they’re both stock weapons - as you can see in the lower right corner, both of them have the same possible upgrades displayed, so both lack them.
On one hand it is a premium gun. So, it kind of serves right to see it have an advantage.
On the other, since it is a prototype…
Actually, if Ian from forgotten weapons is to be believed:
Prototypes and early variants oftentimes ended up being better, with more interesting quirks than the mass-produced models.
So, it is more historical.
Prototype usually are more complex than the mass one is true, but most of the Prototype in game are worse than their mass produced version so i think some change it needed, but if is like this for counter the MG fedorov it can stay
I kinda agree about that, but that’s not the point. What I mean is that premium weapons by no means should be straight up better versions of the f2p ones - at this point it should be called MG 42 (buffed) instead of MG 42 (early).
