Not the first time this has been brought up, but it’s about time to give the Radioman the option of carrying an ammo pouch or secondary weapon. Radiomen did not carry secondary weapons in WW2, so to be honest, they should not carry them in Enlisted. However, they have been carrying them since the games inception as far as I know, so I am not opposed to Radiomen carrying them, but the PLAYER should have the OPTION as to whether he carries a secondary weapon or shit cans it for an ammo pouch.
Is it time for Gaijin to give Radiomen the option of an ammo pouch or keeping their secondary weapon?
- Yes: Give the player the choice of choosing an ammo pouch
- No: No options, Radioman can only carry secondary weapon

do you mean only an ammo pack and not a health or grenade pack
The Radio operator can call in ammo creates.
I would give him everything a rifleman carries, so an ammo pack, a bag for additional med packs, or a grenade pack if the players chooses. There is no reason he couldn’t carry any of them. I just want the additional ammo, so I personally wouldn’t carry anything other then an ammo pack. However, since Radiomen didn’t carry secondary weapons in real life, they really shouldn’t carry them in the game. However, realism is not one of Gaijins specialties.
True, but the Radioman did not carry a secondary weapon in real life, so why should he carry it in the game? Me personally, I would get rid of the secondary weapon all together for the Radioman, however, since in the game they have carried it since the game was released, I would leave that option, but IMOP there should be an option for the player to decide whether he wants to carry ammo pouches or a second weapon. Giving an option does not effect those who currently like having a secondary weapon.
sure they just give up their radio and stop being you know a radio man, a soldier can carry a rifle on the shoulder.
The point is, Radiomen “DID NOT CARRY” secondary weapons, so why should they carry them in the game? Radiomen actually “CARRIED AMMO” packs, not secondary weapons, so, all Gaijin would be doing is correcting a mistake they made. AT gunners carry a main weapon, a secondary weapon and can use an ammo pack, so, why can’t a Radioman?
If you don’t want your radioman to carry an ammo pack, then vote no, and if it does get changed, then don’t use an ammo pack, easy peasy.
WW2 radio weights varied greatly based on portability, ranging from 5-lb handheld units to over 100-lb backpack sets. The iconic SCR-300 “walkie-talkie” backpack radio weighed 32-38 lbs, while the smaller SCR-536 “handie-talkie” was 5 lbs. Vehicle-mounted radios, like the Wireless Set No. 19, often exceeded 80 lbs.
and no
at rifles and prone mg are not an excuse
one broken class is not an excuse for another
yes am ammo pack
not a extra large grenade
not an extra large health pack
so yes ammo
no grenade no heath
Radiomen DID NOT CARRY secondary weapons?
That is the point, and it should be corrected. If you don’t want to use an ammo pack with your radioman, that is your choice, but every player should have the right to make that choice, that is why we have a vote. So, vote no.
It really makes no difference anyway, Gaijin is unlikely to make changes anyway, they rarely do.

i agree take away the rifle and let them carry mor bullets
not more grenades and health packs
logic
radio men did not carry a second weapon they did carry more rifle ammo
riflemen carried a second weapon more bullets, more grenades and health packs
radio men should carry more bullets grenades and health
something, something profit

Sorry bullets or grenades or health pack this is not the multi purpose part
As we all know rifles even most at rifles no #s18 97 weighed 40 pounds or more were snapped like a small j7ke box and so easy to carry

You had a good point about the radio being heavy and cumbersome, which is also a reason Radiomen didn’t carry an additional weapon. A bag with ammo strapped around your waist is much easier to get around then a second weapon strung over your shoulder.
I would be fine with them only being able to carry additional ammo, which is really all I would carry anyway. I never carry the big bags with additional med packs, and I only carry additional Grenade packs with my engineers.

Me two the ability to swap out to a second rifle is stronger then even the largest bullet pack
Allows you to carry multiple types, avoid reloading ect

Grenade use was far less common effective then in game
Grenades had an approximate fuse that could be off
Soldier used them kike swat clearing closed or semi enclosed structers
Sick of people bithching about the s18
The type 97 only works the way it does because it the only br1 at weapon in the tech tree
