Radio Jeeps

I propose radio equipped jeeps as one of the following:

1. An upgrade on existing jeep squads that would replace the M1919 machine gun (the squad option for a radioman would be replaced by a more useful class).

OR

2. A separate squad where the jeep is covered. It would have 4 soldiers and radio capabilities as described below. Players could use it as transport for an infantry squad or to call in artillery/airstrike

These would act sort of like ‘Artillery Strike’ in War Thunder.

It would free up a jeep squad for other types of infantry rather than a radio man and have increased artillery and airstrike capabilities, including faster response times too.

I am aware there is an infantry radioman squad however most people dont run those as F2P players only have 3 infantry slots and it takes a while to upgrade them to make them any degree of useful.

This suggestion would add further mechanisation to Enlisted which is necessary as a true representation of WWII. Also helps in modes such as Confrontation when one needs to rush forward or back with the team.

This is a model but shows the radio aerial/antenna.

• Upgrade for existing jeep squads
• A new jeep squad with covered jeep.

This poll is for the two options outlined above, please vote YES or NO to the idea in principle and then vote here for which option you think is best if you voted YES to the first poll.
