M1 carabine vs M1 garand
I have to replace the carabine with the garand?
Both have a place in the batlefield. It’s all in your preferences.

m1 carabine is usefull short range.
the m1 garand is usefull short medium and long range, and one shoot enemy.

Both are useful. I prefer the Garand because of the high damage, but the Carbine is better in CQC, it’s sort of like a semi auto SMG. You might want a squad with both if you can.
I think with practice, the Garand is better purely because of the damage. Learn to tap fire it just as the recoil resets. The Carbine is only really better at very close range in my opinion.

It’s also a good idea to practice with the carbine, because it’s the usa faction weapon that comes outfited with the grenade launcher device later on. Best to know how to use the main weapon effectively if you plan to also lob grenades around.

Oh yeah of course, give everything a try. A lot of this comes down to personal preference.

carbine all the way for me, but yeah garand is objectively better than carbine with carbine getting 7.5 downs for 15 rounds, while garand is 1 hit down with 8 shots

thanks for all your answers in the end I decided to replace the M1carabin with the M1garand for all 8 tier 1 troopers, not because I feel bad about it, indeed I really like it as a weapon but I am more inclined to firefights from long distance when not I use a smg or lmg, and with the M1carabine it is difficult to hit a distant target and damage it sometimes it takes 7 shots to kill it or more indeed is awesome in CQC so i plan to use them like a 2 wapon for tier 2 trooper wheen i unlock them
