Started Enlisted last weekend, game´s more fun than last Battlefield games and reminds me of Forgotten Hope 2 (though maps are smaller), but a few questions came up in my mind.
- Are AI-controlled squads in official games and how to notice if so? Sometimes it´s like 2vs6 players and the rest braindead squads.
- I´m still playing BR1, researching better equip before going BR2, but is it somehow possible that BR3 players can show up in BR1 servers?
- Do i get it right that skins can only be obtained via Gold coins? (if yes, i find it more than dumb)
- The most important question: Are my AI squadmates always this stupid? LOL

Welcome to Enlisted and the forum, hope you like it.
Yes, there are entirely AI controlled squads when there aren’t enough real players to fill up a server
Not normally, but under one circumstance. The premium squad bundles the game lets you try for free can contain one BR3 squad and be played in BR1 lobbies, but you very rarely see this so don’t worry about it. For normal games, BR3 stuff shouldn’t be seen in BR1 lobbies.
Mostly, but in each battle pass season there are two vehicle skins, and I think one of them is free if I remember correctly.
Almost always. I find that hiding your AI away from fire and controlling each individually lets your squad last longer.

As mentioned, there can be times where entire squads are AI. This usually happens after a certain period of time, when other players desert, so the “players” are replaced with AI squads.

When the above happens, some AI squads can become BRIII, I’m still not entirely sure why, but it is what it is. The saving grace there is that AI squads are usually not really that great in the grander scheme of things. So the balance isn’t thrown off too much.

As mentioned, pretty much. But there are often BattlePass or Event rewards that you can get for playing the game. In my experience, skins aren’t all that important, as the game runs pretty quickly, so I don’t tend to worry about such stuff.

Yup. Though, again, already mentioned, you can give orders to your AI squadmates to hold back, or if you want more granular control, individual members can be given orders too. It’ll take time to really make the most of them, but for now, just tell them to hold within 50m of where you’re going. You can put them in houses or trenches, and for the most part, they’ll stay (as long as you don’t run ahead more than 50m).
I hope this helps!

It is kinda hard to recognize AI commanders but here are some tips: Their names cannot have decorators or console icon so if you see those you can be sure it is a real player. On the battlefield AI commanders use customized troop uniforms instead of default clothes with quite random weapon choices. If you want you can go to custom matches and memorize what kind of clothes the AI bots use on each map. AI can also use certain premium squads. AI never uses planes, cannons, AA, guerillas, apcs, motorcycles, event squads or br 5 equipment. If you see any of that being used it is definitely a real player

Yes. 5 year bot ai problem. Br3 dont play br 1. Isually 1 up or down. When you click ready to play a game you can red red button it will tell you what br you might get.
Another question that came up:
5. Where to restock on grenades and special weapons ammo?
You cannot restock grenades in match.
You can, however, restock special weapons (AT launcher like bazooka and panzerfaust, flamthrowers, mortar…) from the ammo boxes, same as classic weapons.

Welcome, I would recommend the premium battle pass, if you are going to play regularly, you earn back the cost in gold in the pass itself. Plus you get 50 bonus each pass.
I would not recommend parking your soldiers behind in back lines, I would recommend putting formation to wide, so you will have more dispersed soldier to change to when under fire. The more soldiers you have on point easier to defend and attack, as. Capture speed increases with more soldiers.
There is a lot of fun to be had here, above all play how you want to play and avoid burnout by playing more than one faction if you can.
See you on the battlefield soldier

Thanks both of you!
Hm have to keep an eye out because it always seemed it only restocks ammo for my Main and sidearm.
But how do i change formation? I can only give them order to hold or follow, must have missed something LOL
To change formation, you must hold the key which is used to switch between soldier (for me, this key is Y, which I believe is the default keybind)
Holding this key will display a wheel from which you can select soldiers within your squad. While this wheel is displayed, you can use the “Q” key to navigate through formation (wide order, close order and standard)
If I have some time, I will try to add screenshots.
Edit : Here you go
