Since there isn’t a specific place for this, I will post this topic here
I have been playing now Enlisted for couple tens of hours.
As someone who comes from War Thunder, I did notice many things that are similar yet feel too different.
Therefor I decided to make a small list of questions that did grind my gears.
- While Enlisted shares models from War Thunder, did models also inherit damage system and shell penetration mechanics or values.
The Tank Shells in enlisted feel much more weaker than War Thunder and I wonder if this is intentional.
Sometimes even a direct hit by Stuart will not kill a single member who stays on the trajectory of the shell on enemy tanks.
*Can wheeled Tanks be de-tracked/de-wheeled?
Since the beginning I haven’t seen a single Puma that had it’s wheels damaged so it would not be able to move at all. On Stuart and other tanks that seems like a common thing.
*Why Flak 38 and 20mm/.50cal from P-38 are not capable of doing any damage to enemy Pumas
These weapons have more than enough power to have a chance at penetrating the armor yet they don’t do anything. I have flat sided Puma with 20mm flak cannons without any damage being achieved
*Can planes be damaged beyond loss of control
Currently planes in Enlisted can’t lose wings or tails and I wonder why is it so - I have played over 30 games in planes and not once have I lost my wing or anything else. The plane just explodes on any contact with static objects.
*Why destruction is considerably limited
It may be my wrong memories but in 2020 Open Test we got to play in Berlin and I do remember that many of the building could be destroyed. In Normandy I haven’t seen anything even near that level.
*Are HE shells on tanks weakened for a reason?
Currently the HE shells on tanks feel quite underperforming to say the best. Sometimes I hit an enemy just next to and it does nothing. In T-60 using HE belt just feels stupid as it has no upper hand against infantry compared to AP shells.
Thank you for your patience.
P.S.
And I do know it is still Open Beta, yet right now is the best time to ask questions since currently they are easiest to change.
