how many of you play this game autistically
for me

  • i have germans with k98k
  • fallshimjager with g43s, stg’s or fg42 (only a small handfull have fgs and even less have stg’s)
  • aussulters are the only to have granade pouches
  • AT troopers are the only ones to have det packs and if they have a at weapon then they get no det pac
  • the 1st soldier in a squad is tier three(a rifleman as often as i can) 2nd soldier is tier two and the rest are tier one
  • engineers all have a bag with toolkit and medkit
    -american tunisa units have the Springfield while all the brits ones have enfields and the italy units also have italy weapons
    -716th in normandy germand side all have mas-36 rifles are that would have been what they were equipped with
  • units with AT or flame throwers or just engineers have smaller lighter weapons (carbines for americans, mosin 1907 for russians)

I understand what you want say, the game probably can be better if people play for fun, not for spam explosive, cas, SF and other shit like an E-sport match

I wouldn’t call it autistically, the current game fits that better in its ahistorical basterdisations of WWII

I try to play as historically as possible, with some experimentation here and there.

So in this case if we take Germany,
No soldier carries 2 weapons, Machine Gunners, Mortarmen get backup Pistols

Assaulters, with MP40’s except for the lead assaulter or those designated in other squads as leads where I will use the esoteric weapons, like Mkb35/III or Suomi. Large grenade pouches, and in some cases AT mines
All regular Inf soldiers will be armed with K98 or the single Schiessbecher per squad. Large grenade pouch, grenade mix varies with squad type.
All radio ops in early war get Vz24, Normandy and Berlin Gw43; M24, AP mines
All Engineers get K98 except for Moscow, where I gave them Gw’41, Large Bk Pk with 2x repair kits + Meds, Det Pak and AP mines. In Stalingrad I gave the engineers the Mb42H to act as Assault Pioneers, but it would have been better if they could use MP40s.
All FT guys get K98 although in Stalingrad I gave some the ZH-29, with M24
All AT get K98 early, ZH-29 for Stalingrad, and Gw-43 in Normandy and Berlin. Large Grenade Pouch and AT Mines.
All Mor get K98, pistol with M24, AP mines
All MG get their primary, pistol and ammo pouch. Max 2 MG where the MG squad = PzGren Squad w 2 x MG34 in early campaigns or MG42 for later ones. M24, AP mines

Only FJ squads will get an FG 42 and that will be one in lieu of the MG in the Mor Sqd in Normandy, and the FT and MG FJ squads in Berlin. The FJ MG squad will be the most Elite with the FG42 and the two MG42’s

well, i think a 6/70%

I play pretty similar.

All germans get K98 mainly.
Assualter squads have 1 or 2 assualters with MP40 and the riflemen in it have G41/G43 because they are my prompt to panzergrenadiers. Squad leader of riflemen squad gets G41/G43 because I can’t pick and assaulter+LMG.

My Americans get M1 Garands and M1 Carbines until I get M1 Garand in Tunisia.

Brits use Lee Enfields and Italians use Carconos.

I never play Russians but if I did I would do all mosin nagants with SVT squad leader.

I don’t restrict my men with det packs but it’s mixed up in squads and only AT gunners get grenade pouch.

My engineers do get medkits and tools. Once I unlocked large backpack I gave it to engineers so it looks like they are actually carrying stuff and not a waist sack.

Also the mortar/paratrooper squad in Normandy have FGs but I barely use them.
