[QUESTION] Why do aircraft spawn behind the enemy in the Pacific?

On many maps in the Pacific, aircraft spawn behind the opposing team.
Why is this?
Today I spawned and moved immediately to the rear. Behind our spawn point was the other team’s carrier and we could see aircraft flying from there. I just kept dropping them with AA.
From the other team’s point of view, I was at the end of the gray area and it was impossible for their ground forces to break through the front line to destroy my AA.

Thus, their aircraft were getting shot down with no way to do anything about it.
Why is the Pacific designed this way?

Were you doing the Emperor’s work and honourably shooting down capitalist pigs p47 and p38 going in perfect straight lines to dump all their rockets in cap zones without effort?

If so, honour on your family and ancestors!
