Gold order soldiers give 20% exp boost to the squad.
First question: Does that count to research xp for weapons or only squad xp for the squad he is in?
Second question: If i place a gold order soldier in an premium squad, will the bonus increase to 120?
I think it only counts towards the squad, not the researches. I’ll have to check next time to be certain though.

Yes but premium squads dont really have levels, so extra squad xp does nothing for them
There’s no benefit from having soldier with medal in your event/premium squad.
Yet devs are putting them into premium/event squads for on apparent reason, other than to mess up with customization.
Forcing us to not be able customize outfits for them.
It is so irritating. As it is pure incompetency from their side. And literally nobody has ever asked for something like that.
I would rather have total no name, than some guy with gimmick name for whom I can’t customize his outfit.
