Question for the devs: why do you change squad emblems?

I wonder why do you change them (and squad description)?
For example Trooper II squad in normandy had emblem that Engineer II has now.
It’s purely cosmetic so I wonder why do you bother? Especially that it’s not the first time you have done it.

It seems like unnecessary “waste” of development time that could be spend on more urgent things (AI, planes etc.)
Don’t get me wrong, if it makes those squads more historical I’m happy but shouldn’t it be a bit lower on the priority list?

because people conplained about it,

and they changed those pictures.

so, it’s a plus one from me for them.

What were the emblems?

From what I remember all of the US insignias were for infantry divisions or brigades, with the exception of vehicle squads.
So one wouldn’t be more historical than another.

Ok, I just found request about fixing emblems. I didn’t pay attention apparently.
