I first attempted to get some info by looking at the UI and for the first time in my life, consulted the “all knowing” question mark next to research tab, but since neither offered me any valuable information, I came to the forum with my questions.
Now, I know that premium squads have a premium bonus, but how does that apply?
does it apply to the whole premium squad?
does it only apply to the premium soldiers in the squad?
take for example, the APC squad, does all soldiers inside the squad get the 100% bonus for the XP they gain or does that only apply to the APC driver marked with the premium insignia?
So, its pretty obvious that the bonus exists, since it does say in both the in-game store and on the webstore as well. (even if there is no UI indication of it later).
I am confident that this apply to the squad and not only to the soldiers.
I don’t have that many premium squad but I have all 4 premium APCs (the only other squads I have are the M24 and Pz III M, but I don’t really play them anymore because I mostly play at BR3 now)
So basically, the only premium squads I play consistently (i.e. everygame) are the 4 premium APC, and I assure you that I still get really good value of them even if only the APC driver is a premium soldier. Thus why I assume the bonus apply to the whole squad.
See 21st Panzer Div. here - premium APC squad.
Base EXP is taken (2010), then bonus from EXP booster is added,150% in this case (3015) , resulting sum then gets added again for premium time (5025), and gets added yet again for premium squad (another 5025). Results then multiplied for Battle Hero and ‘victory’/‘any army’ enabled bonuses.
Resulting sum then is used for calculating silver gain. With rewards for medals added as well.
For comparison, Folgore squad only gets ‘base EXP + boost’ multiplied only once for premium time.
It would be really weird if the bonus didnt apply to the AT gunner in this situation, but at the same time, every other soldier, every other premium weapon and vehicle are marked with the premium insignia so there is room for doubt.
