The only question that really matters:
Does it have unique cosmetics? It looks like it doesn’t, but I could be wrong. Maybe the feldgrau is more authentic than the rest of the squads or something?

It doesn’t come with anything unique I don’t believe, but you can change uniforms to just about any of the standard uniforms available from what I can tell. This is the base it comes with.

They do have 3 unique cosmetics. Their gray color is way brighter than the free one, and therefore is a different cosmetic. Both pants and torso are brighter. In the winter maps, they use the brighter gray coats. All those three cosmetics are only available for the mp-40/1 squad

for absolute clarity, does the squad have slots open to recruit engineers / anti tank?
it looks like it is only 4 soldiers, so i have held off from buying it

Yes, I choose two engineers, but you can choose one engineer and one AT dude.

To be honest I have far too many premium BR2 assaulter squads, but I thought WTF and bought it. Maybe someday Gaijin will wise up and unlock them, if for nothing else but to throw a bone to those who have been loyal and spent a lot of money supporting them.
