I hate to be an idiot but I have a question regarding the expirenced gained by playing tanks and leveling up your crew man.
I have been playing tanks for awhile and they are maxed out and normally I am getting above 50 kills a game yet my crew man experience is not advancing or maybe its super slow I don’t know.
My question is are the 3 crew man all getting xp from each kill or does it only apply when I dismount the tank and shoot down some Germans because some games it progresses and others where I get like 80 kills it doesn’t even move. I could be wrong totally which is why I am asking the community
Thanks guys and keep up the good work love the game AND THE TANKS
it’s not like what you think. simple, the progression system it’s very slow ( the only tip i could give for this. would be to play lone wolf. a bit boring. but gives double xp rather than squad, if you need to upgrade squads or soldiers. )
anyway, as i said, progression is very slow. although, i noticed that each tank members get the same ammount xp exept for the gunner, and commander. or generally, the guy that uses the gun.
so yeah, if you really want to upgrade them, you could hop out of the tank. but… i would reccomend to do that if you tank is higly damage and you don’t have repair boxes or teammates alive.
in order to continue on foot and help as a infantry man until you die, and use another squad.
I don’t mind progression being slow keeps me playing the game longer but having really good games getting 80+ kills should help it go a bit faster. I think the crew should get the same amount of xp per kill they are working together as one.
Anyway I am sure they will address these issues in the future I am not worried I was just curious lol.
because just like in reallife, back in the days the " aces " were accredited to many gunners. due to their precision, reflex, and other abilities. due also to the aim. since killing tanks wasn’t that easy as many people might think. just like warthunder sometimes teach us, armor values are a thing. the gun it self, parameters, sights, telemtres.
so yeah, in real life the gunner is one of the important role that most of the time determinted victory on the battlefield.
Just a practicality thing. Seems silly to need to rotate crew members to get levels.
But again, at least it’s not fighters needing 100 hours of flight time to level up once, between a lack of targets, kills not counting half of the time when you do get targets, and kills not being worth anything anyway when they do get counted.
