In this video, I noticed that Mike has 3 Berdan rifles in his inventory. So why can’t we buy two same gold order gun like we could in the last season?
It would also improve the balance of certain campaigns, such as Moscow, where the Germans’ SMGs are trash and the Soviets had armor advantage, SMG advantage, and rifle advantage (full auto vs semi-auto).
It’s the first batlepass we can buy gold weapons.
I currently have 2 schmeissers mk36 on normandy, because of last batlepass season and d day event, and I can get another one on current BP.
So yeah. One gold gun per season plus the option to buy the previous one, once. And maybe another on a event like the d day one.
Why you waste orders on that?
Then it means it would take a year to change all FG42 into Gewehr 43 Kurz. Worth waiting considering it’s much better than FG42 in almost all aspects.

I currently own 4 or 5 golden weapons. I ill probably will own 1 of each at the end of the current batlepass.

No one knows if we will be able to get another one on the next batlepass. Or the pass after it.

The Schmeisser is a good “smg”… it’s stable, accurate and has a decent stoping power and rate of fire.
I bough mine just yesterday with enlisted gold. And I don’t really play in Normandy at all… yet.
Like Shiivex said there’s many reasons to get those. Mine is simply that the weapon is an absolute oddity. I just love bizzare weaponry and want to collect every pieces, like if they were pokemons 🤷
Also (if possible) I will buy every and all suomi smg I can in Moscow. I love the thing. I’ll get the russian smg as well even if it’s not as good as a ppd40 (again for collecting purpose)

I didn’t want the golden rifle from the BP in Moscow so the first one was unused until I used it for the PDM-42 in Berlin. The gold weapon card from the current BP, I got the Gewehr 43 with 7.92mm Kurz in Normandy.
There were no decent weapons for the first battle pass that could outdo standard weapons so I did the same thing and saved my order. Bought a suomi for Moscow and a kurz gewehr for Berlin, they seem to be the only ones actually better than the standard weapons you can get for their class. The suomi has higher rof and lower recoil than the MP35, only slightly less damage. The kurz gewehr feels more accurate than the FG42, comes with more ammo and the burst fire works quite well. Even though it does less damage I would rate it as slightly better in my subjective opinion, would not if it was only single fire.
I looked at the other weapons for this pass. The PDM gets outclassed by PPD/PPSH and the M2A1 carbine looks like it has too much recoil for its damage output.

even tho i m not interested in moscow campaign right now, i m already buying slots/premium squads and batlepass weapons for the moment i decide to grind it.
so yeah. i own prety much all previous batlepass weapons and if they alow me , next batle pass i ill buy either current batlepass ones, or even batlepass one again.
@ErikaKalkbrenner remember a small talk when we did answer on a topic about batlepass weapons? see the first print, there is no uniqueness or rare content, as long as money talks, we can prety much own another one after the batlepass…
if they deliver the first batlepass weapons again, i can have a squad with 4 batlepass weapons, and duplicate other ones + current batlepass ones…
its kinda broken, and to be fair, pay to win. as all batlepass weapons, are strong ones.

Is it? Most first season BP weapons are worse than those in the tech tree.
