What gold order weapons are good to require in this pass ?
Depends on what faction and campaign you play.
I would suggest Breda PG (CR), small recoil, accurate, excellent ironsight and good 20 round mag. The most versatile gun I have in the game.
But unless you play Axis Tunisia, there is absolutely zero reason to pick one up before the merge.
Drum SVT-40 is nice too, you can transfer it between all Eastern front campaigns. (sorry, if you meant only new BP weapons).
T20 Garand is also a useful tool, if you like Garand than its a good weapon to have alongside M2 Carbine which lacks the range of T20. Only in Pacific and Normandy though.

Make sure to grind Armory event to get 4x Breda (Carcano) and 1-3x Breda (CR) if you are playing as Axis.
Can you still get Conders? If so then it’s also a top tier weapon for your assaulters.
For Allies there are T20 Garand that is just straight upgrade to M1 Garand and M2 Carbine it’s like both of them had a baby.
FN 1930 is great for Japanese since they don’t have lmg with clear sights with a gun that not obscuring your vision but recoil is higher than usual BARs so better use auto slow.
