Quality of Life Suggestions

I’ve noticed some small frustrating things that add up a bit when playing.
they seem decently easy to fix and would do a lot of good comfort wise.
I’m not a very articulate person but I will try my best.

  1. player’s eye level is… off
I’ve noticed that especially when aiming the problem rears it’s head.
my shots are often blocked by obstacles which only obstruct me after I aim.
the player “leans in” a bit when shooting and this often causes the sights and muzzle to be blocked
by windowsills when going prone or crouching, and in the stables the wooden beams block so many shots.
  2. going through windows is clunky
this is the easiest to explain. characters cannot “leap” through windows like in other games. yes you can climb through them if you jump up from low enough, but running into a building in the middle of a battle and having to jiggle through a window while trying to keep both sides of a glass window open is annoying and sometimes gets me killed. when I press jump while looking at a windowsill at my chest height I should be able to jump through it, and when I press use on a window both sides should open. there is a similar problem with bunkers. you can climb through the windows but it is a very difficult process which involves repeatedly jumping, going prone, and spinning around while trying to un-prone, which will eventually pop you inside.
  3. artillery goes through ceilings?
exactly as the title suggests, artillery shells go through ceilings sometimes.
  4. sometimes can’t kill people when they are on AT/AA guns.
sometimes I’ve shot people multiple times while they were using these mounted guns and it registers as a hit on a metal object. the sound for a metal ricochet plays and some sparks appear from their character.
5.the little window which appears while battling tanks is not helpful
this is a bit of a larger issue I’ve noticed with vehicle damage menus.
the recreation of the shell’s penetration has no actual meaning besides looking cool, you kill a crew member and it says you hit a track or turret ring. the second thing is that it keeps the “1 tanker killed” message on that menu up between shots. if I attack the same vehicle and kill a crew member It displays that message. I shoot again, and don’t pen, the message stays. it is very confusing when the window says that the shell didn’t pen yet displays a message saying I killed a tanker.
  5. AT guns either need more depression or need to be place-able on inclines.
this isn’t so much a problem as it is my opinion. it’s annoying because if you place a gun too high it won’t depress far enough to shoot a tank.

TDLR: game is fun, but like all things needs improvement.
leave you opinions in the replies (I’ve never used a forum before I just like the game and wanted to give feedback so this might be in the wrong format for a topic)

I Agree with everything.

In my opinion the fact that artillery shells go through the cieling is normal, at least for the houses.
A clay tile can’t stand a 50kg shell coming at 350 m/s

would agree if, there was visible destruction.
