Good idea indeed, but sadly unlikely to happen, because being able to queue training sessions would decrease the time sink induced by the academy, which is purposefully there as a form of monetization.

Please don’t bring “how a real academy works” in the argument, since that’s of no relevance. The “academy” in Enlisted is a feature intended to level up soldiers while creating artificial bottlenecks, time sink and RNG factor, which can in turn be exploited as monetization sources.
As such, it is both in the players’ and in the Developers’ own interest to make soldiers management smoother (while currently it’s kind of a PITA due to poor UI), but don’t expect them to spontaneously give up on something they can squeeze some money from.
We do not know how many people actually do pay gold to skip training time.

I did spend some gold on accademy multiple times. Not expensive and I can skip 4 hours to get multiple level 5 soldiers in a few mins.
Still not regretting that. Got all squads, with level 5 soldiers in 2 weeks or so, in berlin.
