Pz2 useless against t60

Playing pz2 in battle of moscow campaign is useless bc t60 can pen your turret from the front with much higher fire rate then pz2 and penning t60 is only possible from the sides with almost 90 degree angle

Try to aim for t60 turret cheeks, those should be possible to pen. Also try to angle, sometimes it helps at certain distances.
In comparison to CBT, PzII was ninja nerfed in its armour values, so it is either hit him first or die now.

Yes, it’s basically no contest, unless the other player is incompetent. Sekret dokumentz strikes again!

Well… yes and no. T60 was actually a bit inferior vs pre-nerf PzII but it was still workable and its effectivness vs infantry was another point.
However, “nerf PzII” voices were actually louder so this is a result.
I really want to see how only tank that could counter Ba-11 cancer in alpha (same Ba-11 that returned as PREMIUM despite being taken away after complaints about how strong and unhistorical it is) is going to be absolutely screwed because of it…
If you think Puma is hard to kill… oh boy, you are going to have very bad day now.

It’s just your typical ‘Russia has to be better at everything’ change. We’ve seen it all before from companies in the East. Balance had nothing to do with it, this much is obvious I think.

If you think Pz2 vs T-60 is bad, go try T-60 vs Pz38t
27mm armor penetration vs a minimum of 30mm of armor, except for the engine deck, which can only damage the engine, at best, from perfect side shots.

The difference being, that to wreck the T-60 the way the Panzer II gets wrecked out of the gate, you have to drop a not insignificant amount of money on it.

I would argue that this only goes to show how poorly balanced the T-60 is, when a literal P2W tank is required in order to outclass it.

PZ2 can wreck the T60 turret and have a better sustained fire capability due to having a faster reload. It also has a better MG. Just angle bro/

No. T-60 heavily struggles with the Pz3E and Pz4. The only two tanks it can lol on is the Pz2 and Pz3B.

So, in the meantime, when few people have those particular tanks…

Panzer II was more effective against infantry before as well. Much better MG and it doesn’t have the 5-minute reload on the autocannon.

Pz2C Late, aka the variant with 30mm armor we used to have, over performed and kekked on the T-60 as hard as the T-60 keks on the Pz2C Early we have rn. There is nothing in between.

Let the poor T-60 have a moment of glory before becoming obselete xd

The difference is that the Panzer II can actually be penned by the PTRD now.

The PZB always could and still can pen the T-60

No it didn’t. The Commieboos just shouted longer and louder, that’s all. The T-60 had to follow the same advice now handed out to Panzer II drivers, and yet somehow that was a problem. Why?

The T-60 could only penetrate a tiny slit in the frontal turret armor, within 20mm, with the cost of reduced spalling damage due to it being 27mm pen vs 25mm armor.

Meanwhile, Pz2 could and still can easily kill a T-60 by shooting any part of the turret

The Panzer II could eat 45mm AP before. It was better than the Panzer IIIs.

Now it’s just a free snack. Seriously, driving the T-60 is so forgiving, you barely even have to pay attention to what you’re doing. Point front at enemy, bounce everything, spam cannon, win.

Extremely long reload, extremely slow traverse, no commander.

Don’t need 'em, the enemy is already dead by the time they even matter.

So the old “fighting in a vacuum” argument that doesn’t apply in the slightest to the actual scenarios in game.
