1.Remove placeholder bots
2.Dont make matches start with 10 v 5 , either make the wait timer for match to balance out so that there is same amount of players or start the match sooner with 5 v 5 and add people as the match progresses in the same ammount with similar ranks.

BIG RESPECT, im adding that to my post dude.

Assault weapons were quite common in WW2 especially when clearing trenches , fighting for cities, tank drivers etc .
The less assault weapons we have the more there will be campers that cannot fathom that they have to get in a zone to capture it.

My balance suggestion is to increase rpm of MG42 to 1200 and it not negotiable.

Also MG for TDs.

maybe we should abandon the idea of CAPTURE POINTS.

Just make the objective a line across the map that moves as the players move forward or get pushed back.

I have a few:

  • Increase number of BRs.
  • Put the Tiger 2H at BR 6 or higher and lock it from facing the Americans until they have a proper counter (for the HA fans, it’s a good change as americans mostly faced the P variant)
  • BR +/-1.
  • Every TD gets lowered to the previous BR.
  • Replace the model of the Pz.IV J with a G or F2 variant, tired of seeing Pz. IV Js in Moscow/Tunisia (HA fans will love this, non-HA fans will love this too - no more hand-cranking turret).
  • Increase the time to drop from plane by slowing the plane or spawning it further away (this will give the defenders more time at the start of the game to counter paratroopers) also, it’s no longer possible to drop immediately on the cap once the previous point is lost (map is greyed out for 1 minute).
  • D-Day 2.0 (the reversed map) gets all the defenders MGs removed, so they’re not turned against them, enemy tanks spawn further away, to prevent immediate spawn camping from the higher ground.

For starters, they don’t care about balancing. This game is what they mean for it to be, a fantasy world for those who adore the German WW2 superiority myths. It’s a place where those who idolize the axis powers can have a sandbox to overpower the poor depiction of all the other nations. Did you know the game is so bad and biased to Germany that things like the Johnson Rifle’s sight being centered on the left most iron sight guard instead of the front post aren’t acknowledged because they simply don’t care about any other faction? I mean, Britain isn’t even acknowledged as being suitable to be it’s own faction despite there contributions, they’re just entry level poorly equipped combatants that serve as the lowest rank of the game in the most insulting way possible.

No less, to fix the game to be a state that would be even remotely enjoyable and simultaneously balanced for all competitors( I.e. the experience the devs are adverse to producing) would take quite a bit of effort. Some recommendations I would make, and the only way the game could work else it just dies, are centered around altering the pacing of how fast the Germans can advance. To some extent the allies would be effected, but lets be realistic the Germans have an Stg44 variant for every firearm in the game and then some.

The German firearms are far to potent, especially the automatics. They have almost zero recoil in comparison to all the allies firearms and simultaneously out perform them in damage. An example being the FG-42, it’s pitiful counter-partner for US is the M2 carbine which simply boast twelve more rounds. The Fg-42 can kill twenty people in one mag with one shots from most ranges you’ll make engagements in the game, as that’s simply the sightlines allotted in the Normandy front, and it has little to no recoil. I’ve used it, just as a disclaimer for all the German mains before they start up on how bad they have it.
I would suggest the FG-42 be moved to the light machine gun role, especially when considering it’s low prominence and how it should almost be exclusively a premium.
Furthermore, the autos ruin the game and lets be realistic none of want this bogus tier system where it would be a mythical fantasy land where every rifleman can have a full auto weapon. If the tier system worked, because it just kind of puts low ranks in with the high ranks and lets Germany have a fun little two minute steam roll, which by the way is most puzzling because German players can’t possibly be amused either. The matches are too brief with too little competition to be entertaining because of how the game is played now.
LmGs are the worst offender because they squander the role diversity of each unit. They operate as full auto Sub machine gun like assault rifles with little to no recoil at all (for Germany). You can pick up an MG-34 from tier three and rack up 20 kills in under a few seconds just sprinting and shooting from standing position. Lmg’s alike the 42’s for all nations should require a slow bracing animation similar too Hell let loose where you can’t shoot while aiming in the standing position. This would force Mg’s to play the role of a machine gunner. There should also be fewer and restrictions on how many a team can boast. Germany has units in Normandy now that have eight Machine guns, way beyond unreasonable.
Next are the assault weapons, which should largely be restricted to assaults’ squads and limited on how many can be in one unit. Again, no 8 man full auto squads. The Stg, and all it’s very plentiful variants, need an increase in recoil and a decreased rate of fire to something more comparable to the actual Stg44, possibly lower damage values as well when fired from anything less than close quarters. The sturmgewher is in effect un beatable with little to no comparison to anything on the United states side whilst simultaneously operating as an assault weapon with one bullet potential.
I’d go on about more recommendations about ways to balance, like maybe implementing a system where squads have some sort of munitions capacity that restricts or influences what they can equipped to some extent, but I really don’t think it matters because nothing will be done. I understand that now they have the complication of balancing on multiple fronts but at the going rate it seems like the last update was a poor decision because of it. Still, a great extent must be made to reduce the German potency because the game favors them so much so that it’s unrivaled in being the worst most unbalanced experience I have ever had.
Even in doing well you will lose just because of how much the Axis powers are favored, I don’t know what it’s like for the Russian fronts, but the matches are pretty much none-existent for the pacific and Normandy United states. Maybe if they start by acknowledging how the Germans steam-roll with there weaponry more could be done but I really highly doubt there will ever be a change.

Let’s be realistic as well in terms of some of the more drastic changes needed, and that I’ve suggested, they’ve upset everyone with some of the premiums being revoked. They can either address the problems and maybe cause some upsets with how the game revolves around full autos (but really exclusively in Germany) or let the game slowly dwindle in population just because they want the game to be what it is. I understand it’s meant to be an arcade like game to an extent but in terms of entertainment, how long do you all really think arcade games that play similar to this pacing and extreme last? It’s boring and mundane with an extreme favor to the likes of Germany. The closest comparable firearms for the United States are Light machine gun exclusive and German players get a LMG for every role including sniper in the form of the FG-42. The
game could be so much more, but once again they fell short just the same as almost every game does now…

Sorry, for the multiple post but the game has a lot of glaring problems and I really just want some sort of game to play.

In regards to tanks though if they polished the infantry AT to be more consistent and lest random than there would be less of a problem.
They also need to force tanks that spawn into the playable area within one minute of spawning prior to killing the crew. Other players want to play tanks and normally it’s just one person who invulnerably sits outside the maps playable area racking up kills. You shouldn’t depend solely on a bomber because the axis don’t have too. On maps like Normandy a KT can sit up at the top of the hill and there is nothing you can do to stop it from ruining the game.

Again, not that they care, they said they would acknowledge this problem before and have failed to do so.

Soviet Chauchat Squad can easily go into BR 1.

Would possibly still be useless due to its poor weapon handling, even on BR1 only matches, when the enemy could field limitless MP28/MP34/BerettaM38 squads.
