Greetings,
Following the merge, every player who didn’t acquire some if not all legacy squads, will only have enough squads to fill out around 2 fully separate battle rating presets.
To put it into perspective lets say my lineup is the following:
- Anti-Tank Squad
- Engineer Squad
- Radio Squad
- APC Squad
Here is where the problem arises.
If i want to use the same squads for all battle ratings, im limited by the amount of squads present in the tech tree, making me end up needing to resort to changing the equipment of my individual soldiers which is time consuming, especially in bigger squads.
There are only 2 Anti-Tank squads present in every tech tree, as well as engineer and radio squads with only one unlockable APC squad per nation.
What I propose is the following, a list of extra obtainable squads for silver or research points.
The ability to buy up to 3 extra Anti-Tank squads or APC squads or any sort of squad. (Vehicles would need to be changed to used by any squad or have the same vehicle selection.)
For some nations, legacy squads that already exist can be used for this purpose, other nations like Japan or the USSR would need to have these squads added in, but they would function exactly like their tech tree counterparts.
This can also open the opportunity to adding more UK or Italian squads.

The biggest problem is the Rifleman Squad.
This is because different squads have different infantry compositions.
The best combinations are the Engi, AT, and Radio combinations, but the squads that have this combination are rare.
Hey! I had a similar idea to yours, except mine was a complete squad shop with all the classes: assault, engineer, tanker, rifleman, etc. I received very few votes and little feedback, since the current system favors the most popular ideas. I doubt it will be accepted, but if yours is, I’ll support it 100%!

C4 charge, anti-tank grenade launcher, explosive pack for anti-tank weapons

I’ve never used radio operators with riflemen, snipers yes, engineers too, but radio operators, I mean, smoke grenades aren’t effective enough, rockets are impossible to get, raids are impossible to carry out outside of a squad of radio operators, dropping ammo crates is certainly a brilliant idea, but if the plane is shot down, it’s destroyed, and if you find yourself on closed maps, well, conventional artillery is ineffective.
The reason why use Radioman is that the soldiers themselves perform very well, rather than their ability.
No other class is as capable as Radioman.
22 Mobility is OP Stat
This makes movement speed extremely fast.
The artillery request is just additional, not the main performance.
In BR5, there is no better infantry class than Radioman for killing infantry directly.
You should use Radioman as a class that does purely Run & Gun instead of thinking about using the ability alone.
It’s become a Reversal of roles, but in reality, it’s really effective.
If you don’t know how good it is, it’s because you don’t know how to use it properly.
Yeah, I don’t know how to use it, because that class doesn’t interest me. Every time I use it, it’s the first one to die. And since you know how to use it, why not make a video explaining its advantages instead of just coming here? It would help more people, and you’d have visual aids to illustrate.
