Public Service Announcement: The “Suggestions” Section of the Forum has Changed.
If you want to post a suggestion for the game, it is done differently now: There are now 2 different sections for suggestions:
The old Suggestions Section, now called “Suggestions - Archive” where all of our old suggestions will be maintained.
The new suggestion section, which is simply called: “Suggestions.”
Please note, this new section is hidden on the forum’s main page. In order to access both sections, simply click on “All Categories” on the left hand side of the main page in the forum.
Also new, the new suggestions section divides suggestions into 5 main categories: Battle Rating, Maps, Vehicles, Weapons, and Other.
There’s also a new voting system, where you can vote “yes” or “no” for other people’s suggestions—if they implement it into their post.
I have to say, this is a welcomed improvement in organizing this section of the forum—much better than the old way. See, the devs can do good things when they decide to.
An information like this should be made and pinned on the Archive tab by the Forum Mods, I dont get why it was missed, I guess lots of people still are uninformed
I would like to add that the your feedback of the last update topic has been closed. It has been running since 2021 so for me it feels like an end of era. Lets hope the next one will be better.
Also this maybe just my opinion but people seem to be a little too enthusiastic about the forum changes and are writing suggestions like there is no tomorrow.
Indeed, but Leaving the Feedback direcly o the News Topic (like most of the people already do) makes it more easier to collect feedback about the specifitc News.
Yes, I’m pretty sure—but i’m not delusional enough to believe that I’m 100% correct 100% of the time. And if I’m wrong, I’ll let you know—when you provide evidence of that. But, based on the screen shot that you’ve taken, I don’t see that evidence. You have to click on the “All Categories” option to see what’s in your screen shot, which means that it’s hidden before you do so.
Regardless, that section was still hidden until you clicked on something else. Furthermore, having the suggestions archive visible while hiding the new suggestions section is somewhat confusing—and forces people go looking for it, assuming they realize that it even exists. It’s a bad design!
I just went to forum.enlisted.net and it goes straight to the main page that clearly shows the new suggestions option. I didn’t need to click anything else.
Well, I access the forum from the game—and it appears to be broken. When I click on the “Forum” option from the drop down menu, it brings me to a page with a list of posts FROM the forum—but not the forum itself. Then, I have to click on one of those posts to access the forum, where the new “Suggestions” section is hidden. So I guess we’re both right.
And the following statement is at the top of the page from that link: “Oops! That page doesn’t exist or is private.” So I guess the devs need to fix that link within the game.
