I dont think that this tank belongs in BR 3 at all.
It still has a fully functional panther gun and the armor is still rediculus even though it is “just 80%” of that the panthers had.
Neighter armor nor gun is BR 3 really. So that is a big no for me.

Actually - since it has less armor ( still too much for BR3) it could be an event BR4 alternative to Panther that trades excellent armor for good mobility.

Uhhh, that the majority of people voted yes for a br4 tank that’s already god tier in br4 to be br3. It’s laughable honestly. So happy the devs ignore the german playerbase for the most part. Most of y’all have no sense of actual balance, were too spoiled for too many years.
Hey man I think the game should be balanced, but when stuff is broken then I’m gonna be abusing it. So in the end if the game is balanced then good, it is isn’t balanced then I’ll make it someone else’s problem. But Germany is weak right now and a prototype Panther at Germany’s weakest BR might fix that.

Even the KV-1 only has excellent armor, a gun that is only enough to deal with opponents from equal or lower BRs.

The Italians don’t need the Beretta M1, SU-9 wasn’t needed, it was added because Soviet mains would cry about it, Lewis Assault rifle wasn’t needed and so on and so forth. Plenty of prototypes aren’t added out of need. They’re added for content and want. However this should be BR IV

I mean, from this graph, it looks like a close counterpart of the T-34-85. Both can penetrate each other pretty easily, only this thing overperforms in a downtier ( mostly because german cannons are superb)
What? The jet? It was absolutely needed, if it wasn’t needed then one of the factions wouldn’t have a jet and we both know the devs are going for asymerical balancing anymore.

With the recent BR changes it is only a remnant of the pre-beretta M38/42 BR II - if it was added now it would probably be an event item.
Jets are not even that good. There are many good Soviet fighters that they could’ve added instead
