Proposal: Introduce a Nuke Strike mechanic for high-tier battles (BR4–BR5)

I’d like to suggest adding a endgame mechanic similar to
War Thunder’s tactical nuke feature, tailored for high-tier matches (BR4–BR5).
Here are a few ideas to keep it balanced and fair:

  1. High Score Threshold: Players must reach a high score requirement (e.g., 10,000 points) in BR4 or BR5 battles to unlock the strike.
  2. Engineer Score Requirement: To prevent vehicle campers from farming points purely through kills, a mandatory amount of Engineer Score (rally points, fortifications, ammo boxes) should be required to unlock it. This rewards teamwork and active objective play.
  3. Balancing Options for the Nuke Aircraft:
    • Option A: Lower the flight performance or durability of the nuke carrier plane, making it easier for enemies to intercept.
    • Option B: Make the nuke plane AI-controlled (similar to paratrooper transport planes), giving the enemy team a fair chance to shoot it down before it reaches the target area.

Are you interesting in the nuke strike mechanic

If they won’t add Manchuria due to being offensive, I’m pretty certain they won’t add nukes either due to the outrage both now and at the time.

can you elaborate on no mancheria

this is my first time hearing anything of the sort

I can’t remember if it was Manchuria, but the Japanese puppet state in China will never be added to the game as according to the Devs, it alienates the Chinese playerbase too much. And probably the same deal will occur with adding nukes to a game where they were used in the same war to intentionally harm civilians, unlike the what if scenarios of war thunder.

This is a completely normal decision.

I would add the opportunity to take such a plane With a bomb, for points, conditionally 10000-12000
But a nuclear strike shouldn’t be the absolute end of the Match, just a very heavy bomb.

it may be an interesting solution, but it’s worth doing as a backup tank mechanic, only at a very high cost.
but the whole problem rests on historicism, only the Americans created a working nuclear bomb, but even it could not completely pacify the Japanese right away.

Wouldn’t be just better add Big bomb planes radiocall bomber strikes
Japan get 4 800kg bombs
Germany or 1 or 2 2500kg bombs
URSS fab-5000 Pe-8 bomb
USA would get the brittish lancaster with its 12000lb bomb

The puppet state is called Manchukuo and it controlled the area of Manchuria. Not that it really matters but thought it might be good to know

In World War II, only two nuclear weapons were dropped: Hiroshima and Nagasaki. The concept of tactical nuclear weapons did not even exist.

But there was a concept of a sacred land)As analogues to the rest of the factions, you can give out heavy bombs in the amount of 1-2
For example, the Soviet Union can get a pe-8 with a 5t bomb with a personal super terraforming setting, the British can get a 12f bomb instead of a nuclear one, since you don’t want to
The rest should be given out by the fact of existence, or invented, the developer is no stranger to it)

or, as I suggested, an airstrike with 500kg bombs on top br, so that there would be annihilation)
