Proper nerf to high capacity guns and late stage trooper guns

I’m 25 in normandy in the teens on every other faction/campaign and i’m starting to get worn out. lmao.

What I find the most ironic, is that your typo actually makes sense in Gaijin games

I think he meant push but punish fits better.

Sad truth

Yeah maybe push would be better english (it is not my mother tongue).
But i really meant punish ^^
Push is too harmless :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

Here’s the comparison of Normandy guns; Comparison of Normandy Campaign Guns

Imo they should move m2 and fg42 to engineer only, and remove one mg soldier from the gunner squad.

Do they even have double drums for the mg34? In Normandy we only have a 50 rd drum, not sure about Moscow. Nerfing won’t do anything other than make the game boring. We’re supposed to have good guns. The guns don’t have as much impact as the 500 lb bombs and rockets that constantly rain with precision. Mg nests get blown up by tanks with 1 shot. So I don’t agree to nerf them. They lowered the fg42 ammo down to 40 rds only. It has a lot of recoil and I ain’t gonna use it like a carbine, so I switched back to the gewehr.

The FG42 has under half the recoil of the Gewehr dude, you single fire it, and it’s a double capacity Gewehr with half the recoil. Wtf are you smoking.

It’s not as accurate, and has the same ammo count as the Gewehr.

Has the ammo supply for the Gewehr 43 been raised? Because last time I looked, it was 30 (10+20).

Just checked, and I guess it got lowered

Yes, they recently adjusted semi-auto rifles ammo count to be more or less on par with bolt actions.

IMO guns doesn’t need more nerfs, they’re good. Problem is matchmaking when those PPsh and MG-34 guys get matched against level 1-6 beginners with shotguns and bolt-action rifles. There is no weapons for beginners to counter PPD, PPsh guys at close quarters.

Right now i’m playing axis Berlin campaign at lower levels and it’s completely off balance weapons wise. Most Soviet players already have PPD, DP-27 etc.,but I hope it would get easier with new unlocks. I also don’t understand why early levels are so filled tons of useless weapons, they could just give us MP-40 from the beginning. But no, player must waste time playing and upgrading useless smg’s like MP3008 which won’t be used in later levels anyways. It was built IRL about 10,000 pcs, they weren’t that widespread afterall but early levels in game are very based around rare but low-tier weapons, also in other campaigns.

I don’t even spend orders to upgrade guns I know I will stop using once I get better ones.

I mean, I won’t spend silver orders on it, but considering the amount of time I know I’ll spend grinding to higher levels, when I reach a given pre-determined goal point, I’ll burn a bunch of bronze orders.

And upgraded “meh” lower tier guns can stack up well to average / above average higher tier guns, though some do stand out to such a degree that you’ll drop it even for a minimum star example, lol.

It helps that I now also have the data to plan things out in advance. I was guessing on stuff before.

Still LOL every time I mow down 3-4 entire squads with my PPD40DFZ and remember all the bitching and moaning about the MP41 despite this being 1000x more cancerous.

Feels like a very similar shot spread to me, i haven’t noticed any difference between gewehr and fg42 in terms of spread, just went and shot them off in testing grounds and they looked the same…

FG42 has 40 rounds, vs the Gewehr’s 30. The FG42 also has significantly lower recoil per shot, both vertical and horizontal (about 20% less horizontal recoil, and 45% less vertical recoil). Shot spread at range is the same between the two in testing on my part as well. By my damage efficiency calcs in my campaign weapons comparison threads / tables, the FG42 is 4x more efficient at killing at close range than the Gewehr if you’re spraying bullets too. (this considering both hit probability as a function of recoil and the difference in time to kill.)
