Progression and Premium revised

I know I am posting about this topic again. I know that I didn’t explain it in much detail, but I have come prepared to better explain my opinion. Like I said, I enjoy Enlisted. I like the gameplay, the environments, and I more specifically like the historical information about the various squads and weapons. However, I do believe Enlisted suffers from 2 problems: premium and the campaign grind. After thinking about it for a while, I don’t actually hate premium, I just feel like the benefits it gives are not that great and could have been in the base game. And before you start asking, “Well if they remove premium, how will they make money, dipshit?” Instead of running premium, they could create skins for the squads and vehicles and no, I am not talking about pink anime tanks and purple uniforms. I am talking about historical uniforms that these troops wore, patches on their uniforms that show you what division they are a part of; stuff like that. Next, the progression is too long and stupid. Grinding campaign levels takes forever for free-to-play scrubs like myself and for premium players. Not to mention, some of the weapons don’t even belong in certain campaigns or make much of a difference stat- wise in certain campaigns. Like why do we have 3 versions of the BAR in Normandy? What’s the difference? Why isn’t their just one version that the U.S. used for the entirety of WW2? Why bother with these variants that have no clear difference in stats? When did the U.S. use the fucking Bren Gun, a British weapon btw! They should just have the most iconic variants of weapons in WW2 and instead of weapon rank upgrades in the squad tree, why not allow us to choose upgrades for that specific weapon? Like extended mags, rifle grenades, etc. I feel like I have explained my topic better this time and gave more specific reasons why I am not too hot about premium and the grind, especially the grind. I will still play Enlisted and I do enjoy the game. This is just my opinion on the matter and I feel like if they made these changes, it would be for the better of the game’s longevity. And if you want a more detailed explanation of these problems, Quadro, an Enlisted YouTuber who has been playing this game a lot longer than I have, has posted two videos covering these issues: one about progression and premium and one that he has posted recently about the campaigns recycling weapons and the problems with weapon variants. I would recommend that you check him out and thank you for your time.

Yes, they could. But I’m pretty sure this would lead to financial failure.
I’m tired arguing with people who keep repeating that “this is what all successful f2p games do”. No, it isn’t. This is what very very few actually do, like Fortnite, but skins is just a small piece of what they sell. Do you want to have some Wehrmacht soldier dubbing on the match end screen? Because that is what sells, not just some different camo of a uniform.
What games like Apex Legends, for example, do is advertise themselves as if they don’t monetize in any other way than skins and then people find shit like this:
“While that answer might not be what all players wanted to hear, it’s hard to argue against. The high rarity items in Apex are designed to keep players spending until they get them, and anyone who opts not to go that route will have to commit a huge chunk of time to make progress towards one.”

Agree with that. The important thing here is “it feels grindy”, there is simply not that much happening that makes you feel like you are progressing past level 15 or so.
Then genuinely weird stuff like - I have this stupid Sniper II team in allies Moscow that I keep in the roster, last few weeks, just to unlock backpack, why the hell it takes so much time to get XP for these “improved” teams? The point I’m making is that game just lacks content/mechanics to justify spending hours and hours and hours to unlock something that you have no interest in using. You could have the same speed of gaining XP but padded with things that are interesting to do.
