That’s cuz the t99 is a post war modification on a ww2 tank. And I’m pretty sure we were ticked at other things at the time some leaks or whatever. And the ho ri was a necessary evil.

Even if super pershing was not added they will most likely still add Ho Ri since there is no other tank from War Thunder that is worth br5.
And the excuse no longer holds especially now that Japan is facing Russia.

Also it does hold some truth… you wouldn’t need 120mm cannon to penetrate a sherman’s armor… and to note i was just fine with waiting for tiger to turn his turret foolishly so i can get side turret shot with 76.
I’ll say however i’m not familiar with the penetration capabilities on soviet tanks with a tank such as chi ri.

Lol you need to aim for that tiny pixel weakspot while the jumbo can pen you from basically anywhere. Tbh unless that jumbo driver is a noob or else I don’t see how he will lose a tank duel against Japan tank other than a Ho-Ri.
I wonder if you ever experience the time where Jumbo dominate in Normandy campaign. And the jumbo only has solid shot AP at that time. Now you have the APCBC that can deal heavy damage to the enemy tank. The Jumbo dominance in Normandy was only ended when Germany get the Panther.

If you’re talking about the 75mm jumbo your sorely mistaken the short 75mm is not a match for the Panther now the 76 jumbo is a match for panther.
Where did I said 75mm jumbo is a match for the Panther? I literally said the Panther ended the Jumbo dominance in Normandy. Maybe try to read the sentence again.
I did experience Normandy when the jumbo apparently “dominated” Germany was not as pressed as you say at least for me, I had a pretty good win ratio as both the Germans and the Allies the balance did flip flopped a lot though till about shortly before the merge now the big cats are annoying a best and at least at rank III battles are decided by a mix of engineer and assaulter mains.
Apparently many players didn’t think so.
How do you know your win ratio consider player stat was only released sometimes after Panther was added in Normandy.
