I didn’t touch the ground until Axis had 0 reinforcements left. The 2 squads I lost were a solo fighter pilot and a solo assault pilot.

They finally caught my Thunderbolt in a no-win. My tail was damaged, engine was damaged, both wings damaged, flaps damaged and I caught a tail I couldn’t shake while I was chasing down another assault plane. I got off a kill shot about 3/4 of a second before the fighter on my tail got me. Then I jumped in the Corsair and crashed on a low pass with enemy having about 20 reinforcements left. Went to a ground assault squad and rushed to defend the point. There was no time to set a rally

Not my most spectacular kill shot, because I got it by shooting the pilot through the canopy. I usually chase those down and blast the planes because I want the explosion. But since this dogfight was so close to the ground, I was anxious to pull out as soon as the kill was made.
between the two factions no one knows what it means to create rebirth points usually you can be as strong as you want but no rebirth point equals guaranteed defeat people don’t understand they think they are on warthunder

Speaking in general, players underestimate the importance of the rebirth point
6k score is low? sheesh man i cant even get near 6k in most game my average would be around 3-5k

Gaining a lot of xp by spamming HVAR rockets is really easy. He did that the whole match per his saying (p47 then Corsair).
It’s probably why he says his score isn’t that high.
Essentially kinda(with caveat) with multiple dogfights mixed in. I shared a link to a video of the last one. I was P47 then Corsair. I made lots of HVAR runs but I think only about 50 of those were rocket kills. The rest were with the 20mm
Caveat is that I made sure every one of my runs approached through a plume of smoke. So ground forces couldn’t see me and the AA gun they’d set up could never hit me. I had to drop in very low and buzz the treetops to gain enough distance quickly enough to avoid the flak. Usually, I slow down on a ground run so that I can see the masses of soldiers. This was nearly all boom and zooms at 500kph
Germans never called in an air strike so I never got a single bomber squadron to shoot down. That’s what made it so low.
(I started the event day yesterday with 0 points. 19,200 in 3 rounds then had to do a 4th for the final 800 points)
I didn’t have much time to play and I needed to score 20k for the event. So I went to the sky to hunt bombers and provide air support for grey tanks.
By “best” round, I mean the 90 kills, 102 assists, multiple dogfight wins, ONE dogfight loss, what I believe is my best dogfight kill the entire time I’ve been playing, and a victory.
It was a super fun match.
