Prioritize fixing bugs/issues with major updates in addition to content

Basically the title. The preliminary patch notes for this Major Update have a lot to be desired in terms of game issues and balance. The below have been brought up for months across all areas of engagement.

  • very grindy and terrible silver economy. Still not addressed
  • Greyzone tanking and suicidecycling planes currently has no counter (they just spawn a new tank/plane infinitely and for new players, they don’t have the tools to deal with it. For veterans, not everyone wants to spend every game in a vehicle hunting cyclers
  • Bot AI is still pretty bad. There is a lack of reactivity still. There should be a command to have a bot engineer build a rally at a point.
  • AT Launchers still detonate on open windows
  • bots won’t follow through windows or swim across water, but will path around which usually leads to them dying
  • AT Launchers damage to APCs is still inconsistent
  • map variety is hamstrung by BR locks and by the failure of DF to consistently release maps. Swapping attack angles does not count as adding more maps.
  • customization still bugs out, and is prohibitively expensive. Customization orders should be able to be spent on vehicles.
  • custom servers have severe lag/crash in full 10v10 games.
  • still no social system, clan system, or menu lobby chat
  • almost zero transparency from DF besides randomly timed blog posts and updates. Drip marketing only works when there’s a large engaged playerbase.
  • There is still a massive inbalance in AT options for infantry. Japan and US both linger behind in AT launchers and AT gun buildables.

If yall have additional issues, feel free to ad them on to the thread. But many of these have been persistent for months if not years, and it’s been pretty much radio silence about them.

Notice I never said anything about removing vehicles. I just said that abusing them through greyzone camping or suicide cycling CAS is an issue that notably pushes away new players.

I think it would help if you moved plane mid air spawns further away to help out with the issue that planes often just spawn behind you after doing a CAS flight or shot down an enemy aircraft which is in my opinion the bigger issue here.
It would also help with the here addressed CAS spam if you add the further away spawn but keep reload points at the same places.

Tank spams in my opinion not an issue and I actually think they should buff them. The HE in maps like Stalingrad or Berlin often don’t work at all because of the solid structures heavily reducing their efficiency on most points.

But I think the main issue with the vehicle spam in general is that they drain your tickets at a rapid pace. To counter that you could add a couple seconds of respawn cooldown for every time you play a squad of the same class. That way you would encourage more variety on the map and reward players taking multiple roles on the battlefield.

Serious player base issues, bots suddenly blocking my laps, game progressing too fast (bases are taken before rally points are made), and all the problems you mentioned.

  • Sometime when switching squad members from commander to gunner the turret move without the player moving the mouse.

  • When colliding with destroyable objects like fences or bamboo trees you will start rubberbanding and jump back in time to before touching the object.

  • Aircraft vertical stabilizer deadzone either being too large ( SBD Dauntless ) or not enabled ( Ju 188 A-2 ) affecting the rear gunner effectiveness.

  • MG of tanks and planes ported from War Thunder have low poly count.

  • Bad vehicle physics, track vehicle getting stuck or start to bounce when driven over small rubbles. Bikes are unpleasant to drive they flip to easily.

  • Character start to bounce and lower their weapon during the landing animation when going down a slope.
