As expected, we are facing the same discrimination towards Xbox players during the October 2025 discounts.
Even on regular days, the Xbox store is already more expensive than the PC store. On top of that, PC players get to benefit from major discounts every few months. As always, I waited on the Xbox side for discounts based on the usual claim that “Xbox has its own sales,” but there were no meaningful discounts at all, and the recent PC discounts did not apply to us.
On top of that, we were also told that some squads will soon be removed from the store. Because I genuinely enjoy Enlisted, I went ahead and purchased the squad I wanted, even though it was much more expensive on Xbox.
However, at this point it feels like console players are simply being taken advantage of. The game no longer brings the same enjoyment. I am sure many other console players feel the same way. As someone who has spent more money on Enlisted than on the console itself, I feel disrespected, and there has been no meaningful response from the developers regarding this issue.
At the very least, I would like a clear and reasonable explanation beyond the usual statement that “Xbox has its own sales and they take commission.” That alone does not justify this situation.
If every non rare event squad was available for gold and Xbox gold packs gave a small bonus amount of gold that was proportionate to the extra costs then the issue would be fixed.
Another fix would be to let pc players gift squads bought in the Gajin store to their console account.(A account link/transfer feature would achieve the same result).
because consoles like xbox or apple take a cut of all sales something like 30%
so if it cost 10$ enlisted would make 7$ pc does not do that though steam does. so direct pc sale from geijin dont pay a cut to xbox so they can sell for less its why fortnight sued apple.
So never would be a good time to talk about it? Lol I’ve been playing for over 2 years now and have only ever seen the para squads go on sale one time through xbox.
Other games are able to hold sales on all platforms at the same time. There are also other options to make it work. This is called being lazy, and the corporation taking advantage of the console player base.
I was told this lie when i first got into the game as well. Countless people told me just wait the console sales always come after the pc sales. It’s a flat out lie. I’ve only seen 4 squads go on sale 1 time with over 2 years of play. We also don’t get notifications letting us know if anything goes on sale as well which is part of the problem.
There are easy fixes for this. I agree it’s nothing but a bad feeling. And if i had known what console life was going to be here i would of never started the account on console. In which case the game ever gets a market place like warthunder consoles will again be left out. I simply have too much time and money invested now on console to start over. They need to enable cross progression with crossplay like other games have. Would be the best situation possible.
Same here. I’m stuck with playing on PS because I can’t migrate my account. That’s truly a d*ck move, whoever’s responsible for it, idk. I have so many hours invested, legacy squads, event squads earned, bought. It wouldn’t be the same starting all over. If they were smarter they should look into that, to keep players retention. That’s the most logical solution.
really? You think randos on discord saying an item is on sale is anywhere close to the same thing as enlisted official news that says sale? Most people who play the game don’t even get on the official forum, much less on discord. I also have only ever seen 1 post on here telling people there were a few things for sale on xbox marketplace…and guess what, it was my post.
Besides that, even if you are lucky enough to catch it, it’s just a couple things and not the entire gaijin marketplace for sale, again, like they advertise. Stop trying to make this seem like it’s not that bad.
Wow, you’re really arguing a discord post is the same as their official website or changelog directly on client. You’re opinion is no longer credible, thanks. Is like saying you have to go search through twitter to get info on a sale. If it’s not advertised on an official website or directly in game, then it’s only going to reach a fraction of consumers and can’t be claimed as official news/notification.
