I just wanted to know did Darkflow go back on their stance of adding an engineer to new event/premium squads?
I have not read all of the threads here on the forum and dont know if it has been already explained why the current event squads are so much worse than the previous event ones.
I dont have anything against the weapons they wield but the fact that Darkflow added AT to the event squads in normandy/tunisia, but for the squads in this event, the axis dont even get an engineer.
Like, would it really kill them to add just 1 engineer to the squad?

the aussie squad have a good smg wo is more stable and precise than all 20 variant of thompson we have
The Japanese one instead fit perfectly the Japanese ww2 army in real life, wo rely a lot on BA, and be pacific a long range engagment campaign a fast fire bolt-action is a goodlike weapon
So no are not inferior for the pacific campaign, is inferior if you compare them with event squad used in campaign with more powercreep

The problem is with the squad composition vs previous event squads.

Yes and squad composition dont matter is something they give us for free
I fail to see the problem those squad are for fun not for be competivive
In that case why give the allied squad an engineer?
Because premium/event assaulter squad from 6 month now come with 4 assaulter and 1 enginer
And
Premium/event infantry come with 9 rifleman
I agree is a bit stupid but is more like a standard wen they build up a squad so is not bias or something else is darkflow idea of how this squad has to be

Cause the event squads that came previously are also assault squads like the Allied squad and had AT in them.
I didnt make this post to argue, i just wanted to know if someone knows why darkflow made them so bad compared to the previous ones.

I would rather have squad of nine riflemen than squad of 4 riflemen with one engineer. Sorry mate, your crying is over dramatic. Just build rally with different squad, is that so hard for you or what?
Btw. Do you want premium tanks to have engineer as well? I guess yes. Because you literally cant play one squad without the most op class.
Nah, i just want my pilots to have engineers in squad so i could build a AA gun on my plane.
But really, if you cant understand, my gripe is with the fact that the previous event squads are much better than the current event squads.
I dont care if the rifle squad would have a damn mortarman in it, i just was hoping that DF would keep the event squads at the same level as the previous event squads.

Previous squads weren’t on pacific campaign, power level is very different. Plus japan squad isnt even bad lol, it just doesn’t have engineer. I guess you didn’t even try it. Rather than grinding event, you are crying on forum. What a character.
Engineers adds lot of versatility to event squads, and can make them viable choices for filling valuable squad slots.
I don’t understand why people are suddenly arguing against replacing one rifleman with an engineer when that’s been a long standing request on the forums to include engineers in all premium/event squads.

Having no engineer makes this squad useless to me, I’ll just take their explosives and medkits and leave them in the reserve forever.

If you mean that the weapons are worse in the campaign that is grounds for a squad not to have an engineer?
Every single campaign, has the exact same squad composition for every squad.
Are you saying that the powerlevel of the campaign should dictate the composition of squads?
Berlin and normandy should have 9 engineers in every squad and pacific should have none!?!?
And to reiterate, I dont have anything against the weapons the squads have, i have a problem with the fact that the squads are a downgrade compared to the previous event squads.

Also,do you have something against the idea? Why would you ask such a rhetorical question if you didn’t? Maybe you’re just here to argue, but adding an engineer provides many benefits with no downsides

I agree, and I have no problem if they were to add Engineers to these squads. I just think its not a big deal if they don’t, like its not a deal breaker.
