Rework premium squads so instead of getting campaign xp, they get squad xp that is evenly distributed amongst all currently equipped squads.

Give premium squads the option to equip specialists like engineers and AT soldiers like every other free squad and I’d actually buy some. Until then they’re just a waste to me

or allow them to use the secondary weapons slot with either starter BA or another weapon of the same time

they are a waste. absolutely weaker and pointless compared to freemium squads

Right now, the premium squad is trash.
This 100%. Late campaign squads take ages to level up compared to early ones anyway, so it would give premium squads at least some meaning even if they stay as weak as they currently are.

I only use them for Maybe 2-5 rounds
I really enjoyed using them during CBT. I would also like to see them have additional squad members as others have suggested. Right now, I only use them to get the XP bonus to level my campaigns, once it’s maxed I immediately swap them out.
